Automating things
HOMM 3 is truly one of the greatest games I have played but certain things annoy me and the biggest is a lack of automation. For example if you have many castles it can be really tiring to always buy the full troops to them. Why didn't they make a buy all button. Also when you have a hero chain moving all the troops back and forth is a major pain. A command move all except this/these would be nice. Well at least they made the quick combat option, which is a blessing in end game.
So anyway I was wondering if there are actually any third party "hacks" that fixes these problems?

There is such button in TE version.

There is such button in TE (Exchange army).

There is such option in TE. When you fight a guard you will be prompted to select 1) normal fight 2) quick combat 3) quick combat without spell point usage

Sounds very nice but I'm not so keen on the idea that game balance has been modified. I'd just like the game interface improvements.
e: Nevermind now when i actually look at the changes they seem to very reasonable. Great, thanks SAG

Most of the changes in TE are reasonable, and the others - you can just switch them off So you take only the best changes for you.

OK i have a little problem concerning TE and I don't think it really needs a new thread. The problem is that after installing TE none of the Wog options actually work. What i mean is that they are all set to some default settings and changing them doesn't seem to alter anything. The TE options work fine tho.

It was made intentionally. Only best WOG features are enabled in TE, others are disabled.
