"..and Goldilocks tranquilizes the three bears, takes them to her lab, and begins doing some animal testing on the creatures. Papa Bear dies within the first few weeks, and becomes the greatest feast she had ever tasted. Though, with all the testing done on Papa, something went wrong with the meat, and Goldilocks went psychotic. She killed the other two. Mama was fortunate, and died nearly instantaneously. Baby wasn't so. She tortured him almost endlessly, and over great periods of time. She made sure he stayed alive as long as she could keep him. Now, she's out on the loose, running here and there, searching for her next victim. Who knows? She could be in our very neighborhood."
Father puts the book away, and goes to turn out the light.
"Sleep tight, and don't let the bed bugs bite."
