The Member Contest
It's a simple contest for everybody who liked the Superhero Contest, and preferably everybody else as well. Using the same program as in the Superhero Contest, this one, you will try to create pictures of other HC members, as in the following examples:
Okay, they're not very good, but I'm not the one competing, and you get the idea.
This is how it will work:
Every round I will give the name of a member, and you will try to picture them with the HeroMachine program, making it as accurate, funny, and fitting as possible. I will work as the judge, and every round I'll pick the best one and declare it the winner. There will also be bonus rounds... We'll keep playing for as long as it's still fun.
Anyone interested in joining? I won't make too much of a fuss about the contestants list, everyone can just join in if they feel like it, but I need to know if there's enough interest to make this work.

I have a question : How do you upload these images ? I can't manage to upload my own HM creations in HC...

Well, what you should do is:
1. When you've finished your character, press "print screen", Prt Sc. on the upper right-hand corner of your keyboard.
2. Open paint or other similar program and paste the screen
3. Crop out your character and paste it to another window.
4. Save the character.
5. In for example photobucket, log in, go to "my album" and click on "upload images", then browse, and select the saved file with your character.
6. After it has uploaded, copy out the direct link to the picture provided underneath the picture in your album and paste in inside [img]'[/img] (But no ', obviously)

Print-screen your hero, paste into Paint, crop, save, upload to photobucket, copy the text from under the pic in your album that says "[img]link to image[/img]", paste into HC post.
Edit: doh, too slow

Btw how can you crop out background ? When Select the Background it doesn't get selected...

Okay, that's a start, but try editing all the white bits out in paint, so that there's just the picture.
I don't know, you should try reducing the size of the white area in paint, I guess.

The noob's guide to posting a HeroMachine picture.
Step one: You have the window with your finished character open, like this:
Press Print Screen on your keyboard:
Step two: Open Paint or other image-editing application, and click Edit>>Paste.
Step three: Crop out your character:
Press Edit>>Cut, and then File>>New. In the new window, go to Edit>>Paste and save the file you have created. It should look somewhat like this:
Step four: Upload the saved file to Photobucket, here:
Choose the file that contains your saved crop-out of the character, it will upload automatically.
Step five: Copy the direct link provided by photobucket:
Then paste the direct link in between [img] and' [/img] in your HC post.
You are now ready to compete!

Anyways, I'm in of course. I just need to set up a new Photobucket account, since I forgot the password for my last one and my email doesn't work for some reason either.
