I disagree, because it woul dlimit the units to those capable of living in such a city, which would make the town even more wood-elven-racial, which I would dislike...

Agreed, a forest is fine, a tree a hundred metres tall is ridiculous, and a tree big enough to hold the entire city is totally ludicrous.

the size is not the problem I have...the problem is that it would be ludicrous to have some classical creatures for that castle in a treetop city...unicorns, treants, wolves, if you're precise also dragons...so it would mean the town would become even MORE elvish...and it's elvish enough in H5!!!

Yeah well I won't say that the ludicrousness of treetop unicorns hadn't occurred either.
BTW, how do the towns look in siege, I mean are they accurate, or are they just Haven clones with a few graphics changes?

And if you want an explaination then the Unicorns could have taken the elevators or have been teleported by the Druids 
Or Unicorns wouldnt even need to be present in the Sylvan faction of Heroes 6.

that might not be such a bad idea, after all, they do 'have' a Duchy named after the thing.
I've redeveloped my factions desires somewhat as well:
Haven (Gnomes/Constructs)
Spire (Elves/Angels)
Sanctuary (Faeries/Centaurs)
Empire (Humans)
Fortress (Dwarves)
Academy (Humans/Genies)
Stronghold (Orcs)
Cult of Belial (humanoids/beasts)
Deep (Troglodytes/Illithid)
Temple (Naga)
Rampart (Lizardmen)
Tomb (Liches/minions)
Estate (Vampires)
Lair (Gnoll)
And while that may look like a lot, I have about half of them planned out already.

Fafner, Solmyr, Daremyth, Neela, Iona, Thane, Aine = genie
Nymus, Marius, Zydar, Axsis, Calh, Rashka = demon
I might've missed a few =) (particularly with the dwarves, can never tell who is and who isn't).

Yeah but still a treetop town would be too Elven-racial for me. Cause the Elves are typically the treetop-town livers if there are such at all.
