Thank you! Does anyone know the other names?

---------------

I liked the independence from WOG. I'm really thankful for the WOG team contribution for Heores mods, but I didn't like the some modifications they made in the game.
On the other hand, HOTA seens to simply add Cove town on SOD, without changing the rest; and I really aprove it!!!

If any russians can fill in some of the creature abilities as well please

The arrow animation on Sea Wolf's Death stare ability is nice touch.

Which modifications except a few icons to Hero Screen? They are offered you as options, check/uncheck. On the other side, HoTA made for SoD was probably wrong choice, as 1) we can't mod it, 2) playing random maps against AI is for bored people, 3) the flaws the SoD editor has are not fixable. You can't keep interest for a 10 years old game if no options are added constantly.

Not to mention that they would have finish it years ago if working with WoG platform.

I think it is pretty clear that some people like wog and some don't. No reason to carry on that exact same argue in here. Everyone can keep playing whatever they prefer .

Anyway to list special buildings available in this town. (my translations might be slightly of as I'm not russian )

Thieves Guild (last slot of 2nd row) - Counts as one extra Rogue's Guild when checking info in tavern.
Pub (1st in 3rd row) - Increases level 2 creature growth by 6
Grotto (2nd in 3rd row) - Enables player to trade creatures for artifacts
Roost (3rd in 3rd row)- Increases level 4 creature (assid) growth by 2
Powder Storage (3rd in 4th row, enabled by building level 3 upgraded dwelling) - Enables 2nd upgrade for tier 3 creatures (Sea Wolf)

First of all i want to thank you for HotA. I rly like this new town and many changes of different things.
I also like this 3rd upgrades of pirates but i have question there will be more of those 3rd upgrades in different towns in future? For example in Tower there could be : stone golem->iron golem->gold golem or diamond golem. I think that some of heroes skills need to be changed for example : Tactical should give speed for your unites in army +1 on first lvl +2 on second lvl and +3 at 3rd lvl. Diplomancy, Balistical, Spells learning and Eyes like a hawk also need some changes. Basic growth also should be changed for better difference of towns. For example there are almost same growth at 7,6 and 5 lvl creatures in all towns.
You are doing good job just keep it going!

First of all I would like to thank HoTA team for bringing up a simple yet professional expansion to the game. The difference with WoG and HoTA is the simplicity and not getting away from the original concept that WoG simply failed to do. For most WoG may be the future of Heroes 3 but to me(ive been playing this game since it first came out on and off) the way the HoTA team does is job is quite better and may be a new era for our good old H3.

I just wanted to thank HoTA team again and I look forward to playing with Kronwerk as soon as possible.(since there might be berserkers and duel wielding axemen and those units rule)

Yeah, pirates in Heroes is much more realistic than some arcane tower where you exchange attack points with defense.

I want to remind you that WoG with all options disabled becomes SoD with ERM. HotA will be transfered to Bersy's Era. Era is based on WoG. When it's over it will be up to you whether to use WoG features or not.

Salamandre mentioned that HotA team could finish the town much earlier if they built it on WoG. That's right, though it's not really critical for a new town. But new artifacts and new objects can be easily implemented using ERM, and we definitely can't afford the luxury of hard-coding all this stuff. I believe that transferring HotA is a necessary precondition for its further development.

You seem to take all negativity aimed towards WoG as personal attacks. Calm down man what's up with you. I've seen other posts by you where you've been in the same mood. Stop treating WoG like it's your baby and accept the fact that not everybody plays it.

I have no problem  if you say you simply don' like it. Just don't come with "wog failed to the original concept", which is a very vague critic based on ignorance. What is original concept?

The way the original Heroes 3 game was made by NWC. Sure, WoG adds lots of good features - among them is the option to choose whether or not you wish to WoGify the map and choose what WoG-features you would like to play with - but even this drifted, in my opinion, away from the original concept way too much. HotA might as well have been a third expansion released by 3DO as it adds originality. Is there any more to explain?

The only thing I REALLY don't like about WoG is many of the new creatures. Let's take Blood Dragon as an example - there's barely any difference between the Blood Dragon and the Ghost Dragon when it comes to graphics and the name is awful, honestly. It seems as there were no fantasy applied whatsoever to the units when WoG was created. Kudos to the WoG team anyway, seeing as they took Heroes 3 into a new era and without it we wouldn't have such a big community as we have today.

Then you'd better make some concept of "Extended SoD" for yourself, so you won't feel sick when HotA is finally transfered to WoG.

So there will be no future HotA versions for SoD?

The final release of this version, updates - may be. But releases with key features that are planned to implement - I doubt it.

I see no reason to worry about the added support for WoG. You turn it on or you turn it off - everyone's accommodated. Although I trust the HotA team will adhere to their benchmark of quality and do something about the borrowed Disciples objects and the recoloured level 8 units.
