Nymph / Oceanid
Crew Mate / Seaman
Pirate / Corsair / Sea Dog
Stormbird / Ayssid
Sea Witch / Sorceress
Nix / Nix Warrior
Sea Serpent / Haspid

They may be changed but with a low probability.

Good£¬but I think Ayssid and Haspid should be changed£¬because I think it is difficult to understand.

I have known the meaning of §Ñ§ã§á§Ú§Õ§í is viper by using the dictionary.
So I don't think Haspid is a good traslation.

Hi guys, I can see that Official creators disappeared, but I got to ask. Have you consider improving map/campaign editors? For example winning and losing conditions. I would like to set different winning/losing conditions depending on player(which is not possible in official editors). There are radio buttons to choose option so I can choose only one of the options and below there is a check box allowing me to add "normal conditions". It would be great If mapmakers would be allowed to combine winning/losing conditions however they want.
Example:
Blue player: Just cant lose certain hero.
Red player: Cant lose certain town A certain town B and hero A
Pink player: Cant lose town A and cant lose town B for longer then X days.
I believe that this possibilities would change map-making a lot.

Also campaign editor, ability to draw your own campaign maps would be super awesome. Also adding own videos and sounds in prologue/epilogue. More clear options in setting heroes from 1st mission in 2nd etc. and some "select all" button next to list of artifacts that can be taken to the next mission.

Moreover imagine multi-player campaign. From couple of day I'm making some campaigns for fun mostly for my friends and ability to make multi-player campaign would be super bomb.

And the last thought. Ability to play on TCP/IP Hot seat? I mean 2 players on one computer in hot seat mode vs other 2 players on other computer on hot seat mode, not very useful think but I think in some situations...

Also thanks guys for your affords in making this mode, I would like to see v. 2.0. GL HF

Could people please stop bumping the thread every 3 weeks? It's annoying getting constantly thinking that the devs finally announced the release of the english version. When it's always just someone late for the party.

No.

Furjoza has right to ask for something more or less important, that is map editor improvement or new multiplayer options - especially if Sav and OxFEA do read this topic sometimes.

And about those changes - maybe I'm not the one who should answer that, but I guess most of editor improvements can be done (especially if there was a completely new map editor - and it will be AFAIK). Multiplayer campaign or crossover multiplayer options, however, could be too difficult to afford... but I'm not a reverse engineer, so I do not really know a lot about that.

Map editor is under development. It will be a new editor, not a mod for an existing one. There were some screenshots on df2, but they maybe haven't been saved.
Other ideas sound reasonable, but there is no work have already done for them and we have now a lot of work to do for other, more priority, tasks.

So the HotA maps won't be openable/editable with old editor?

And are you planning option to add your own objects to editor, like it's in current one, by editing zobjects.txt, or any other way?

Even now most of HotA maps are incapable with SoD and its editor, which don't support new creatures, new dwellings, new banks, new town and, especially, new heroes. In future this incapability will become only stonger because new futures will be added.

zeobjts.txt doesn't allow you to add new objects. It only allow to add templates for existing ones (temlate stores info about object def, size, passable and trigger squares, terrain; it doesn't store object name, description and properties).
Most of templates are stored in map file, that's why you can now and will in future be able to add new templates to HotA map. And, as editor read heroes txt's for information about built-in templates, you will be able to edit them to add more templates.

Sounds good.I have done a map editor for myself by using MMarchive, but it has a lot of mistakes.
So I look forward to the official editor.

hota 1.1 is almost ready...but there was a decidion NOT TO upload 1.1 until final ending video will be ready. so hota 1.1 should have all videos and inter-campaign animations until the relize.

and i'm afraid that work under the final video is moving too slow, i hope that it will be done faster but can't gurantee it.

You aren't on the list of team members, vladud. So I don't know if your info is correct.

Also, even if it does come out, will it still be russian only? Or will the english version finally arive?

Oh, sorry, the first post in the thread didn't list him, that's why I didn't think he was a team member.

Good to hear. Though I'd still like to hear if 1.1 will have an english version.

Oh, also, these intermission movies, are they like the ones in the original game? If that's the case. Then it's pretty hardcore that you're making full-on animations/cinematics. Can't think of any other mod that did that. For this game or others.
