OpenSource'ing the mod
Hello guys,
First i wanted to say that the idea and screenshots are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I love what You have done and i will surely play it. Everything looks JUST LIKE Heroes 3. Unbelievable work !!
This is the greatest idea anyone had since Wake Of Gods.
I have one question:
Are you going to OpenSource this mod under GPL like OpenTTD, FreeCIV, Battle of Wesnoth etc. ?
That would surely speed up the development, not saying about other advances. GPL is the way to go for such projects, if You ask me.

I hope there will come a new and better model for the bird creature.
It looks a bit weird for some time. Anyways, nice new cove dwelling. I can maybe imagine what of these cove creatures are their real home.

looks like that we have to start a new forum section called Horn of the Abyss soon, instead of keep the posts in the forum section Wake of Gods. 
by any chance that can someone post a full sized screenshot here of the cove town?

Have a question to HotA developers: I can see from the screen, that the skill balance of Cove Might hero is similar to a Stronghold Might hero (At 4, Def 0, Pwr 1, Knwl 1). What about the magic class heroes - will they be similar to Stronghold Magic class heroes too or will there be a difference?

i can't believe that a heck lot of people fell for the april fools joke, but anyways, that was only once every year.
different sources had different predictions upon the the date of release of hotA. i mean, even the hotA team cant be sure, because there's still debugging to be in the programs, and other stuff. so even if it was said april-may, it doesn't mean that hotA HAS HAS to come out in april-may. it might take longer, a couple more weeks, or a month, etc. but in general, the later it was released, the better it should be.

Hi. im a new Heroes fan on this site. I have just heard about Wake of Gods and wanted to try it out. A few bugs and crashes made me delete it because it sometimes crashed and i forgot to save -.-
anyways! everybody is possitive about this HoTa project and i really hope you guys will work on it as long as you want to and make it perfect without almost no crashes (i hope)
The normal Heroes 3 is getting boring when you know that a mod with 1000 of features is being created ^^

I've told it will be only beta.
1st stable release 1.0 we'll see only after few weeks or months, it will depend on how many bugs are found of course.

Will all new creatures have "extra abilities" like when you right-click on a creature avatar in WOG?
(like Infernal Troglodytes are Fire Immune when they reach Ace level)

This looks like the best Heroes of Might And Magic III addon since the release of the game.
GUYS, dont rush it! polish it as much as u can. Lets make it the best addon ever created for HOMAM III.
