My guess is that VCMI authors will have to follow same road as WoG and Era ones: create first mods by themselves. Once some mods released, it will be easier for external modders to look at pattern, check if it is working as expected and only then start to invest time. This is how it always worked. Modders are not testers.

English version is in progress. HOW can you not understand that.
Everybody whant something from us but we barely have 1 man who is making translation. BECAUSE EVERYBOY JUST WANT TO GET, not to make. So stop your whining and wait unless you can help.

Uhhh... If I'm correct, you have at least two guys, while one of them also translates HotA to Polish. And maybe his work in English translation isn't huge, but it certainly is here. It hasn't changed during this week, has it?
But thay's not the point. The problem is: THEY HAVE A LIFE. And translating mods isn't really the priority for them while they have family, friends, jobs etc.

Have in mid that we are waiting for a "simple" translation (as we see it) for... how much is it now? 1 Year? With release dates as June, Autumn and the latest 24 December. So you can expect lots of: "Is it done yet?" when you approach/pass a "deadline".
On top of all, spartan communication from your side did not really help clarifying things out.

Everything looks simple when then others must do it. When I translated Phoenix mod from russian to english I expected a few days of work, then it took over 4 months of daily work + thread in russian forum + every day questions/answers + close eyes on their mockery tone
When translating TDS from chinese, it also took us (me and JimV) 4 months. I asked help from professional translator but he couldn't make it, the game has technical terms which he could not translate well.
So is not so simple.
