Factions of Xerox HoMM6

This is a big sub-part of Xerox HoMM6

I just feel that there are so many factions in my idea (16 with the minor factions) so that they take to much place to be in one thread, it gets to messy.

Thats why i will post all faction information and creature line-ups and towns and minor factions in this thread.

FACTION INFORMATION

Castle = The brave Humans.
Grove = The wise Wood Elves.
Dungeon = The mysterious Faceless.
Hive = The rampaging Insectoids.
Inferno = The infernal Demons.
Palace = The powerful Naga.
Sanctuary = The heroic Champions of Asha.
Necropolis =  The twisted Undead.
Academy = The exiled Wizards.
Ramparts = The proud Orcs.
Stronghold = The stout Dwarves.

NOTE THAT THE FOLLOWING CREATURE LINE-UPS ARE NO WAY NEAR FINAL AND MAY BE COMPLETLY CHANGED!

Fortess
The humans fled from the old continent in anger and hate. Led by King Duncan and his daugther and Priestess Laneva they seek to build up a new empire in the new world. They may look peaceful, but in their mind they only have one thing - venegance.
Duncan saw his wife, Freyda, be carried away by demons and heard her screaming in front of his eyes.

The human army ranges from the light melee oriented Militamen to the powerful Angels. In the back of the armies, the Medics take care of wounded troops and Archers rain arrows upon the enemies.
The front troops are made of Pikemans, Griffins and Crusaders who are shielded and protected by the heavy Footmen.
The Monks of Elrath also blesses the Falcon troops and brings down Elraths wrath upon their enemies.

Inferno
The Age of the Overlords has come for the demons. The Overlords must be gathered, and Urgash awakened.
Urgash the Dragon of Chaos have had a war against Asha the Dragon of Order for thousands of years.
Now he is ready to finish it with the doom of Ashan..
With the old world destroyed, the Dark Messiah and the Sovereigns can start with the real plan.
The first goal is to asemble the demon cults.
The last one to eradicate Ashan and move on to other worlds.

Among the Infernal Hordes, the Grunts form up the main brute force. The Imps are a spellcasters nightmare and the Acolytes are the basic shooters. The agile Hellhounds are used to take down enemy shooters, and the savage Demolishers can destroy war machines and whole cities with ease. At the last rows of the army, the Gogs throws spheres of fire to kill off enemies.
If an enemy army seems big, the Demon Lords and Heretics just send the Hell Stallions to greatly reduce the enemies number with the power of fear.
The savage Pit Fiends are often used to kill the enemies elite troops and most fortified units, as their Hellforged Blades always kills an enemy.
But the Demons greatest weapons are the Devils, who are the Sovereigns elite guards and Urgash most favored children.

Enough with creating secondary threads for your ideas. This is a third thread for Xerox's HOMM6 ideas. Why did we even need the second one? Put them all on the same thread. It would also be much more comfortable for the reader, to find everything on one place.

No more double threads, please. Unless you convince me that there is really a need to post this in it's own thread, I will close it down. I understand it's frustrating this forum does not allow sub-threads, but as this is currently not a possible feature, we will have to stick with editing and assembling in Master posts.

I have removed stats. I mean its true, its not nescessary.
Im not like creating a whole game and its a very little chance that Nival/Ubisoft even sees the ideas.

I have cleaned the thread.


I will start to work again.
Most of Infenro buildings are complete and their racial is too.

Gating allows creatures to either teleport on the battlefield or bring reinforcements.

I will start working seriously on the swamp town now (Pyramid).

Any comments and critismn is welcome.
And no, i will not change the Argus.

Victory in Venegeance!

The humans are the people of Sylath, the elemental Dragon of Air. But long ago, most humans slowly turned away from Sylath and turned to the elemental Dragon of Light, Elrath.
Elraths servants, the Angels, would assist the humans to be a successful race in the world. And although the humans of the eastern Free Cities were still loyal to Sylath - they never archived such strange as the Elrathian humans.

During Queen Isabels War, the doom of humans was close. The humans became corrupted by Kha-beleths, the demon Sovereign, demons and their overlords.
The Succubus Biara had caused great destruction to the Holy Griffin Empire when she was disquised as Queen Isabel and begun to destroy the empire from within.
But in the end, Biara fell and Queen Isabel returned in her true shape.

The real Queen Isabel didnt want to be queen anymore thought. After everything that happened, she understood that the title of Griffin Queen would be taken to someone else.
The new Griffin Queen became Freyda of the Unicorn Duchy and her husband Duncan became King.
Without Duncan and Freyda, the Queens War would surely been lost.
As Freyda came from the Unicorn Duchy, she renamed the empire into the Unicorn Empire.

Freyda and Duncan, queen and king, begun to rebuild the Empire just like the other nations of Ashan rebuilded theirs. They also got a little girl whom they name Laneva.
However the rebuilding went very slow, as most of the people of the former Griffin Empire had left for the Free Cities during the last war.

It was also in the Free Cities that the events of a new war would begin. Isabel had been forced to give birth to boy, a boy who would became the Dark Messiah and end the world.

Isabel didnt even want to look at the child and adopted it away a while ago. The boys name became Sareth.
Sareth slaied all in his way, including Ashas champion - the deathlord   Arantir and many others.

Eventully, Sareth got an powerful relic called the Skull of Shadows from an distant island guarded by the Eastern Tribes.
The Skull of Shadows could be used to two things, either it could be used to seal the demons away forever and prevent the Lunar eclipses that releases them or it could be used to grant the Demons free passage to Ashans surface world from the fiery underground realm of Sheogh.

Sareth choosed the later, and the next war began.
It was named "The Eclipse War" because the demons were now free on Ashan and the eclipses would have no effect on them - but on another diety which I will reveal later.

However although the outer reaches of Sheogh was unsealed, the inner chambers were not but would soon be.
Because deep inside the planets core, the primordial Dragon of Chaos Urgash - the Vanquisher of Life and Bringer of Chaos - awaited his release and the ultimate doom of Ashan.

A terrible explosion was caused when the dark messiah Sareth released the Skulls powers and unsealed much of Sheogh.
The explosion laid waste to the western side of the continent but the real devastion was caused when Sareth and Kha-beleth combined their powers and released them to turn the continent into a new, surface version of Sheogh.

This event caused massive floods and earthquakes and fire rained down from the sky. Soon all that was left was a volcanic wasteland with small parts of untouched ground here and there.

In addition to that, the Dark Elven land of Ygg-Chall seemed to have disappaered, as all contact from it had been lost and all the entraces  had fell.

This caused Isabel to suicide, as the people still hated her and her dark elven love Raelag was assumed to have died.
The Unicorn Empire made an union with the Wizards of the Silver Cities (which had been critically attacked by Orcs and heavly damaged during the time of Sareths travels) and the Wood Elves of Irollan (Irollan had remained intact).
The Dwarves could not assist them due having problems on their own with demons invading from the Abyss.

But not even this alliance could stop the hordes of demons and both Elves, Wizards and Humans were forced to flee from their beloved land.
The elven leader Findan and the wizard leader Zehir both died in battle, defeding Ashan and their homeland.
Zehirs daugther Dihesa fell in sorrow and led the Silver Cities to the far north, escaping from all conflicts.

Freyda and Duncan constructed a massive fleet of transport ships and most of the Unicorn Empire meet at the Westdocks, which had the empires largest and most fortified harbor.

However just as the humans would flee across the ocean, the Demons attacked the city. Many didnt manage to get on a surviving transport ship and flee and among them was Freyda.
Duncan and his daugther Laneva watched in anger and horror how Freyda screamed and disappaered in the smoke and fire of the city.

The trip over the sea became fairly successful, but they had to stop in a small island chain called the Azure Isles only.
They were populated by the wise Naga who saw the humans weakeness. Without even trying to speak with them, the Naga attacked but the humans managed to strike back and contiune their travel across the ocean.

They came to a new continent which they named Aleeraah. Because of tradiation and Duncan came from the Falcon duchy, the Empire had to be renamed yet again - back into to the Falcon Empire like in the old days of glory. However, traditions also said that the same name cannot be used twice.
To gain favor from Elrath in these dark times, the empire was renamed into the Elrathian Empire with permission from Archbishop Leord.

Duncan saw this as a sign from Elrath and a sign of victory. The Empires highest priests began to train the daugther Laneva into a powerful cleric because in these powerful times, it was very important to make Elrath happy and they really wanted his aid now.

Duncan saw Laneva grow up into a strong woman (around 16-17 year old is enough to be considered a woman) who used the forces of light to vanquish her enemies.
Duncan knew that this was the time for his venegeance to come.
Soon the Demons would pay for taking away his love and destroying his people...

And because of the humans anger on demons their motto became:
VICTORY IN VENEGEANCE

Leader: Archbishop Leord, Queen Freyda, King Duncan
Colors: Gold, White (Duncan) & Red, Gold (Freyda)
Heroes: Knight & Cleric
Racial Skills: Training & Prayer
Spell Schools: Arcane & Light
Symbols: The Sunrise, The Bloodstained Blade
Racial Terrain: Grass - Increases maxium health by 2 of all creatures when on grass terrain. In addition, increases the effect of Blessings given from the Prayer racial skill and the additional damage on favored enemies by 5% through the training skill.


Creatures
The Castle army has a moderate status on everything - not very weak nor very strong. The Castle army has shooters in form of Archers and Monks. The Monks also bless their troops and bring the wrath of Elrath upon their enemies.
They are protected by the Footmen. The Medics heal and cure wounded troops and the Conscripts form up the light infantry.
The Pikemen can strike down even the largest and most savage creatures without even getting hit and the Griffins makes up the main brute force.
The Crusaders are the elite troops and the Horsemen the cavalry. The humans can even get the powerful Angels to help them in the end but their ultimate weapon is to summon Elrath himself.
