All an elaborate plan Adrius, this way I have you exactly how I want you , exactly where I want you...

Also you're welcome NoobX.

EDIT: Ah yes I almost forgot, feel free to post your feedback again and talk about it. Only 2 rules
1. Don't change it (I doubt any of you would, I will be checking regardless however)
2. Feel free to say anything you want about your feedback but do not make attempts to find out who wrote what. No guessing, no "I'm sure/pretty confident/whatever that X wrote this" it's counter productive and due my german attitude about you having to follow the rules I'd appreciate it if you would just refrain from it.
Stuff like "Oh I think I know who wrote that" is fine (still not a fan) as long as you don't actually try to spell out who you think it came from.

Happy commentating.

This is the most positive feedback I've ever gotten.
Quote:
mvassilev:

Has become more free and willing to post than he used to be, posting in the VW quite a bit now, still most well-known for his debates in the OSM and his quote wars. Very informed, has an opinion on most everything and always willing to debate-Academy ;

puts human beings' selfishness above all else, regardless of the cost it has on nature, or their fellow man. has creative writing skills, though. ;

A man whose world is founded on logic. Wants tomake a lot of money. His argumenation is annoying at times when he focuses on semantics. Academy is his faction, no other choise. ;

An idealist who is both a robot and has a sense of sarcastic humor (making him more of a robot, since that is the only kind of joke a robot can tell or understand), Mvass takes things to the absolute ideal extremes... which can be a bit problematic in the OSM, where such ideals are not only met with hostility but often outright dismissal. It's hard not to debate like this against him, to be honest, as arguing the extreme and only the extreme tends to leave rather gaping holes in anyone's arguments, so I would suggest mellowing out the extremity of his arguments in the future and adding a bit of realism into his ideals. That being said, Mvass is wonderful outside of the OSM, and whenever he posts in the VW I always find myself giggling like a school girl. Mvass is Necropolis, for he has no sense of humor and is incredibly absolute in his statements. ;

Fortress. Mvassilev is a dwarven warrior, always defending libertarian ideals in the OSM. While doing a great job standing his ground (property?), it'd be great if this Defender turned a bit more into a Berserker when debating for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. ;
mvass is still a mystery to me. One moment he's in the OSM, the next he spams in the VW, and then he retreats to the OSM. I think of him as a moderately funny member, but a really serious debater. Sanctuary. ;

Mvass has only improved, not really changed. Perhaps it is because I have gained a bit more insight into politics and stuff, but he has become much more interesting to me lately. Also when he does venture into the less serious lands of HC it's almost always hilarious, and if not it at least serves as a nice springboard for others to contribute with hilarity. Academy ;

He started posting more actively in the VW, which is great despite his almost unfeeling personality, well not unfeeling, robotic yes, but backed up by a reservoir of emotion, as if he's restraining that part of himself. He is his own man, and his logic is unique and refreshing. It's good to have him in the south-side again regardless, though I fear this will only last till something 'interesting' happens in the OSM. Academy. ;

Robotic, logical, eager discussion partner. Two major values in his worldview-human rights and freedom. Interested in any form of mind exercise. In OSM he believes. Being with promising status, the word “promise” is not present in his dictionary. Faction- Academy ;

Sanctuary His arguments often make me judge and perceive him as childish and a hyper devoted christian who lives in John Kennedy's mythological life style ;

Just another OSMer. I rarely encounter his posts, and so I don't know him. Faction: Fortress?
Necropolis Has gotten a lot less involved in all the arguing in the past few years. Is also a lot less confrontational in his way of writing. Perhaps he's quieted down because he's got another outlet for his "energy". ;

I like this guy. He seems to have grown a bit funnier, I guess? Otherwise, same old same old. Always somewhat rational, always has an interesting opinion. Academy ;

If there's one guy you can count on not changing, it's mvass  He has curious ideas but he is fair and nice to have around. academy ;

Calm, gathered, intelligent, logical. He knows who he is and he enjoys who he is. He knows exactly what he wants in life and how to get it. He’s collected and satistfied with his lot in life. He seems to have found the perfect girl too, I’m glad for him. As a heroes faction he’s Haven, Just and fair. ;
Comments and responses:
"puts human beings' selfishness above all else, regardless of the cost it has on nature, or their fellow man." - I've said plenty about this in the OSM, and to clarify would require a full-length debate, so I'll refrain from responding to this fully here. I'll only say that while I put a high moral value on humans' selfishness in general and my own selfishness in particular, the effects aren't what you'd expect them to be.

"A man whose world is founded on logic. Wants tomake a lot of money." - The first sentence is a great compliment to me. Thank you. As for wanting to make a lot of money, it depends on what you mean by "a lot". I want to make enough money to be comfortable: to have a small house, a decent car, food, health insurance, internet, save for emergencies and retirement, etc, which isn't too difficult in my field, but I value leisure very highly too. For some reason, from time to time there crops up this idea (I've seen it in previous sociograms too, I think) that I'm a hard worker. Nothing could be further from the truth - I'm incredibly lazy. The people who really want to make money work 80-hour weeks in finance firms. I could've gone that route, but I would've hated it.

"Mvass takes things to the absolute ideal extremes" - You call them "extremes", but they're really "fundamental principles". As Barry Goldwater said, in one of my favorite quotes of all time, "Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice, and moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue."

"it'd be great if this Defender turned a bit more into a Berserker when debating for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" - This is very good advice, thank you to whomever wrote this. I'll try to keep it in mind.

"mvass is still a mystery to me. One moment he's in the OSM, the next he spams in the VW, and then he retreats to the OSM" - People wanting to post in different subforums, how mysterious!

"Mvass has only improved, not really changed. Perhaps it is because I have gained a bit more insight into politics and stuff, but he has become much more interesting to me lately." - "Mvass. Mvass never changes." I'm glad that the things I post are of interest to you, anonymous person. It's good to hear that my words aren't just hitting a wall of disagreement.

"backed up by a reservoir of emotion, as if he's restraining that part of himself." - I don't think I'm restraining any part of myself. I wonder why it would seem as if I were.

"Being with promising status, the word 'promise' is not present in his dictionary." - Hmm? Why not?

"His arguments often make me judge and perceive him as childish and a hyper devoted christian who lives in John Kennedy's mythological life style" - Ah, yes, Mvass, the guy who wants to abolish religion, is obviously a hyper devoted Christian. But if you're using "hyper devoted christian" metaphorically, to mean "someone devoted to a set of principles", then I take it as a compliment. Don't know why you perceive me as childish, though. Or what John F. Kennedy's lifestyle has to do with me.

"Perhaps he's quieted down because he's got another outlet for his 'energy'." - That's part of it. Between real life, reddit, and blogs, I don't devote as much of my energy to the OSM as I used to. The other part is that there haven't been any interesting discussions in the OSM in the last month or so. But once an interesting topic appears again (and by "interesting topic", I mean something that isn't the same tired old "capitalism vs socialism" and "religion vs atheism" again), I'll be in the thick of it.

"He knows who he is and he enjoys who he is. He knows exactly what he wants in life and how to get it. He’s collected and satistfied with his lot in life. He seems to have found the perfect girl too, I’m glad for him." - I think this is an accurate description of me.

Faction summary:
Academy - 7
Necropolis - 1
Fortress - 1
Sanctuary - 1
Haven - 1

And the winner is: ACADEMY. To no one’s surprise, I'm sure.

Adrius:
Another guy who never seems to change, always friendly and fun. stronghold;

Everyone likes Adrius. In Geny’s minor absence, Adrius has taken up the role of cocky leader individual, something he’s been quite successful at. Oftentimes he doesn’t really have to try to make people like him, or he’s just perfected the art of trying really hard, but disguising it by acting laid-back. Overall a cool dude, could do with some work on the sarcasm though. As a heroes faction he’s Sylvan, cause he’s radiating man-beauty. ;

a funny poster, but tries too hard to appear tough, solitary, or smart. he should be satisfied with who he is. ;

The red-avatared man is still posting about Berserk, as always. He and I don’t cross paths much, so I don’t have much to say about him, unfortunately. He seems to be a nice fellow. Stronghold. ;

A member that brings quality to where others bring quantity, posting longer and more interesting posts than most, a really interesting person to read and talk to-Haven ;

Adrius continues to be the voice of reason around here, however with there's been a lack of anything big this year to help compound him better, I don't recall his participation in the February fiasco. However, he remains as he was last year, a warm gooey homebody, however his Berserk personality is all but gone. Sanctuary ;

Notorious for his variety gaming experience, his excellence in spam and reserved place in every thread he likes. One of his masterpieces is the HC game, which he left without second part. Faction- Inferno ;

One of my favourites, funny drunk and sober. Plus he is smart (well that is a requirement for being funny in my book, so it was a given). He is Stronghold, he has the barbarian vibe image on this forum. ;

While full of humor and having a stunning personality, Adrius is much ore than just a joker. One of the kinder and most fun people here, Adrius is tolerant of other life styles and has an adorable dog. He is incredibly supportive of equal rights and calls people out on basically anything he thinks they need to be called out on.  He doesn't take anything from anybody. Adrius is Stronghold, fierce, proud and constantly bloodraging. ;

Stronghold. Do I need to explain my choice? The whole berserker obesssion thing qualifies for Stronghold. Anyway, I used to looooooove Adrius almost solely because he was swedish. For better or for worse, however, I'm no longer a swedish nationalist. Adrius continues to deliver interesting posts, mostly about other games and in the Wastelands. I wish he could expand to other forums aswell and blame Ubisoft for not seeing more of his amazing factions. ;

All-around great poster, produces both deep and throughly funny content, sometimes at the same time. Beneath all that berserker exterior hides one of the greatest hearts of HC  A model to us all. Faction: Stronghold ;

Sanctuary Hehe, Ad is one weird individual who seems to come to HC to escape his real life and share all the stuff he can't share with his family and friends. In a way that is his choice but should there not be more to life? ;

Energetic, positive, funny, creative and intelligent fellow. I’m glad he’s stayed with us for so long. His photoshop skills never fail to make me hack up a lung while laughing. Inferno

Dawww you guys. This completed my day.

I ain't quoting parts I'll just address bits here:

- Yes my sarcasm needs work, I use it as a crutch when I'm too tired to be thorough with my points.

- My dog is adorable and I'm quite certain my first penalty will be due to flooding the board with her pics.

- Yes Ubisoft killed my faction-creating by STEALING MY IDEAS OVER AND OVER. Snake faction living in Hashima? MINE. Void sphere of magic that hates dragons? MINE. Etc. etc. Do I look rich? NO I LOOK FOOLED. MAH ROYALTIES!. Actually designing that **** takes waaaay too much time, time which I had earlier but not so much now. I don't like doing things half-hearted, and each new faction has to be better than the last. The best faction on HC right now is B-boy's bard-magical-island thingy, it's glorious and I can't beat it haaha

- This is indeed a place where I can share a bit more than I do on other social media where I represent mahself in RL. I've loosened up a bit and share a bit more on other places now though, and people seem to like it so... Adrius and Jensen are merging slowly...

Anyway thank you guys!

EDIT:

Oh yeah and I'm part of Stronghold apparently, cool I actually thought I would end up in Inferno because you know... red.

Nothing else to say, really, a nice bloke who doesn’t make too much noise of himself. As a heroes faction he’s probably Sylvan, silent but deadly. ;

Very friendly, cheerful and entertaining member. My respect goes for his roles in the Glade, as well as for the comics posted by him in the Tavern. Skillful in OSM as well ,very respectful in his responses. I can learn a lot from him and find his activity enlightening. Faction- Sylvan ;

Seems to underestimate himself, likable guy. ;

HE IS MY BIG BRO I LIKE HIM A LOT HE IS AWESOME YAY GNOMES GNOMES FOR PRESIDENT HE IS FUN AND CREATIVE AND HE IS SO COOL GNOMES GNOMES GNOMES! Haven. ;

passionate about his sexuality, quick to side with a group, sometimes against his better judgement. ;

Fragile Sylvan (I imagine him with frail elf-like features) Warm person but somewhat wants to shy away from the world. ;

One of the few members who is all around the board, whether it be the Glade or the Wastelands or the OSM. If there’s a topic, chances will be he’s replied to it. Not afraid to be out of the ordinary with opinions or beliefs-Academy ;

A good writer, young gnomes has become a more clearheaded thinker since the last Sociogram. I usually like reading his posts. Still, many of his thoughts are still rather conventional. Haven. ;

One of our best members, Gnomes is super-handsome and cool and friendly and all sorts of cozy stuff. I really have nothing negative to say, I can relate to almost all your posts in some way and we seem to agree on most issues. You're Batman. Stronghold ;

He's incredibly brave, creative, and friendly. I wish I knew him better... One of the two posters I'd be relatively open to meeting IRL, which is kinda moot, because it'd be next to impossible anyway. I wish him all the best. Faction: Sanctuary ;

Sanctuary Gnomes is a mixture of Carcity and Mytical, with a touch of Adrius to distill the compound and some ****. Anyway, Gnomes has steadily trudged out of my attention span, which is dreadful shame, but seeing how the place we used to make hilarious entertainment has been reduced to this horrificly idiotic spam hole, I can see why. I can only hope that sensible and humorous people like Gnomes can help restore the VW into the witty playground that it once was. ;

Academy Gnomes is gnomes. Avid RPer and I thank him for that. Keep it up bud! But his vw qualifications are poor, better than learn though. ;

Sanctuary. Like the Naga poets, gnomes has no problems creating vibrant stories. Stories which he with emotional depth also share in the OSM, such as in the LGBTQ thread. However, sometimes poets get so much in love with words that parts of what they write feel redundant. While his arguments in the OSM are well reinforced, they could also be more concise.  ;

Very active member. I highly respect him for what he’s done in the glade (though, it seems dead for a while now) (but then again, that place seems dead 80% of the time anyway), seems a very open and honest fellow, kind. He seems like a strong personality, definitely a cool guy. Haven

I underestimate myself? Wat?

But anyway, thank you guys~ All of this is positive feedback (or close to it) so I guess I was/ am doing something right. I honestly would sound like a broken record if I tried to make responses for each entry of this feedback... so I just won't try. (The only exception is the one above)

So then, my results are:

Sanctuary: 3
Haven: 3
Sylvan: 3

I have a three way tie... wow.

As a heroes faction he’s Academy, a calm, laid back intelligent bloke. Too intelligent for his own good, at times. ;

Thanks for the compliments, first of all. I have to say I'm a lot more active/engaged with my friends (some of them at any rate) mostly because I know they won't get offended at anything I say, or I know their limits. It's actually a pretty big deal for me to stay on everyone's good side, so I tend to be a lot more reserved online. Not sure specifically what you mean by the last comment, but I get the general gist. I can definitely see where you're coming from though, so cheers.

Quote:
Ah, good old Vindi. We meet again. Though he isn't around as constantly as he once was, Vindicator still pops in every once in a while to be insightful and awesome. He tends to be a good poster, though his critiques might be a little better if he stuck around long enough to really do something with them... I would say Fortress, partially just to annoy him and partially because the dwarves are about as rare as him.  ;

Aww, thanks. I don't quite get what you mean by critiques, but I do need to put more effort into stuff, that's true. The reason I don't post as much is I don't often feel like I have something insightful to say, and often delete a VW post if it's not up to my extremely picky standards. Also, not too annoyed by being called a dwarf, but at least you tried.

Quote:
I must admit I had to look at your post history in order to remember who he is, the reason for this is that though he actively contributes to threads, the only thing memorable about them is his sexy new avatar. Vinny has been around and I do remember him, but I can't for the life of me place his personality or his agenda, maybe taking a leading role in topics might change that, if you want, but you have no obligations to me or my wants. Fortress ;

Whoever you are, the bold part shows that you have extremely good taste. That comment alone really warmed my heart. I do have difficulty taking a leading role in topics, tis true, but I've always been pretty shy and don't expect that to change any time soon. I will take this in consideration though, and try to post more memorable things.

Quote:
Haven. I haven't really seen him post much outside of the ICTC, where he had a fun but not very original town. It was essentially a Roman style Haven faction which is the explaination for his faction.  ;

Yeah, I had always wanted to make a Roman style town, and wasn't inspired to do anything else at that moment (btw, gnomes, you still haven't judged me ). I'll try to be more original next time.

Good call on that, I am pretty sarcastic. Not sure why Dungeon, but I'll take it.

I guess I could consider myself pretty normal. I certainly don't post anything too radical, so that's true. And yes, I do want to appear smart.

I don't post much outside of there and the VW, it's very true, and it is something I need to work on. The OSM is just a very intimidating place and the Tavern... I have trouble relating with people to be honest, and don't really know what to say half the time. Thank you for the respect, I try to be pretty optimistic in general.

Yeah, I do feel like I'm getting a neutral vibe from this feedback, and think that describes my time on here fairly well. I would post a long reply to you, but I feel I've already said the same things in my other replies, so... I won't.

Thank you very much for the compliments, I will try to show more of my personality in the future and hopefully people will have something different to say about me other than, "He's a nice guy, but I don't really know him."

Quote:
Seems to gravitate mostly around creative topics, as good a sign as any. Subtle presence, likable ;

Thanks, nothing really left to add on my part to this particular comment.

So, my factions:
Sylvan 2
Necropolis 1
Fortress 3
Haven 2
Sanctuary 1
Dungeon 1
Academy 1

Almost every faction in my bag (who else can boast of that?), but the winner is indeed Fortress! Now that I think about it, it is pretty hard to assign myself a faction (as I've acted on this forum anyway) and I need to mold a better personality to the name of Vindicator. The reason I don't post in the OSM is because I'm not too familiar with the issues you guys discuss, and really don't want to invest my time researching, mostly because of laziness. I will try to do it in the future, maybe once I learn more about the world.

Disgraceful
Undefeatable Hero
posted August 13, 2013 03:44 AM

my feedback:

Fred is a nice dude, seems slightly missinformed at times, though he’s got good intentions. He’s a mix of Noob and Ghost, from what I can tell. Though he’s slightly calmer than both. A good thing. If he was a heroes faction he’d be Inferno, seeing as he’s (atleast trying to be) kinda chaotic. ;

Contributing to the WoG forum, he has many interesting ideas that are put  into his uploads and work. Could strengthen his control over his temper (not only in OSM) . And he could understand many people are ready to support him, not necessarily in only one way (or the very min he wants their help). I think better management of his quoting habits will help him. As a faction I give Necropolis. ;

A friendly yet curious fella with interesting experiences to share. He can be a fun guy but he often cannot see past himself, as if he is the target because he is the minority or something. In some ways he reminds me of Acu  stronghold ;

Fred – Somewhat too easy to anger, my advice to him would be one of the Wikipedia guidelines: “Assume good faith” – people aren’t out to get you. Aside from that, though, he’s a good poster; I find some of his views mildly unsettling, but they’re often nothing more than some commonly held views taken closer to their logical conclusions. I don’t believe any of his weird mysticism stuff, though. Necropolis, obviously, because of his avatar. ;

Kind of incoherent to follow, but funny guy, speaks with a lot of vehement emotion, which explains the incoherency somewhat, I guess, overall positive though, positive attitude, eager, energetic, a bit new Fortress ;

Creative, willing to start games and interesting threads willingly, as well as participate in most things the community has to offer, but angers rather easily and often complains about real life. -Inferno ;

Gets easily angry and his tendency to paranoia just enhances it. Active poster that is very friendly. Inferno, anger and I think he values his own space, individuality. ;

Friendly fellow to chat with, but seems to be suffering from some paranoia about the world in general, like he's being followed and that he's cut off any contact with the outside world if I recall correctly. Very straightforward with handing out tips to members in need, though I personally sadly don't see much value in the tips, many of them from a psychological perspective only seem to serve to bring the member even more pain. I have no doubts about the tips are handed out with only good intentions, but perhaps a consideration of his own situation (isolated from peers, doesn't care about the outside world) and if the other person wants that SAME situation should be made. Oh and he seems to be a talented modder, which is cool. Necropolis;

Chill out, also, paranoid is only cool when it's sung by Ozzy, not a random dude from the states Haven ;

Inferno. In the HoMM games, the demons are always the ones getting beat up by everybody. This must be how fred feels. Fred is a very emotional poster who often gets upset about the smallest things. To be taking seriously, fred must get rid of the whole "Angry teenager/everyone is against me"-persona.  ;

Fred: A rather impulsive, sometimes (... often) vulgar poster who has self-admitted anger issues. He is well planted in his beliefs, and does not seam to believe in changing his stance on anything ever... which makes him the perfect candidate for the OSM. Of course, if he had come even a year earlier he would have been thrown out on his bum from said place of endless, pointless debate, but in today's highly opinionated crowd he sort of just... fits in. I think that he does need to mellow out a bit if he plans to stay, though, as his aggressive attitude has put many of the posters who talk to him on edge. I would say Inferno, as he is rather passionate and stubbornly refuses to change his admitted faults because they make him who he is. ;

I don't know what to make of him, at first he seemed like some drunken thug, now he's more of  a radical with deep, but unfound philosophical ideas, and now he's a bloody poet as well! He never hesitates to contribute to discussions and usually offers a unique perspective, I say carry on, you're a fine addition to HC. Sanctuary ;

He be a very strange (in a positive way!) member. Creative and funny, but also very easy to anger and with a nasty bad side. I like him, tho. Stronghold. ;

Of all of HC, he is the one with whom I can identify the most, I think. Keeps to himself mostly, gives off the impression that he just wants a place where he can goof off to his heart's content. Kinda obsessed with security and online privacy, which is completely understandable even if it sometimes sets him off just a bit too much.
He was a soldier at some point, wasn't he? I wouldn't go so far as guessing PTSD, but I think it had a profound negative impact on his life. Anyway, I don't really know more about him... which I guess suits him just fine  Faction: Dungeon
----------------------------------------
inferno- 5
necropolis- 3
stronghold- 2
fortress- 1
haven- 1
sanctuary- 1
dungeon- 1

looks like inferno wins. i have no idea what this means, as i have no real insight on any factions, i never followed the heroes storyline, only played the games.

as for the bulk of my feedback, it's mostly correct. quick temper, silly, yes. paranoid, maybe. i don't write things off easily, and there is always an underlying motivation behind everything. lol, the only ptsd i got was from when i was a kid. being around many, many people in the army, and most of them being able to tell me what to do, yes, i had a problem with it, but it was far from anything even close to resembling "traumatic".
----------
"between noob and ghost"? lol. trying to be chaotic? i never try anything, i just do it.
---
"cannot see past himself". not sure what this means. i was under the impression that everyone speaks from what they have personally learned in their lifetime... don't know who "acu" is, or was.
---
"don't believe in any of his weird mysticism stuff". lol. i'm just reporting what has happened in my life. i never thought of it as mystic, at all. it's not fiction, it's autobiography.
---
"incoherent". damn, i thought i was clear enough. i'll have to try harder, and keep from speaking in metaphor.
---
yeah, i complain a lot, because there are a lot of things that could be better. anyone sitting on their thoughts, instead of expressing them, never got anything changed, especially for the better. but yeah, i can see how my complaining isn't really helping things. maybe if i worded my thoughts better, i would be more readily heard?
---
i try to stick to myself, yes. social life only seems to rile me up, and almost none of it is good for me. at least in hc, i don't have to excuse myself when i want to go somewhere else, or do something else. much more freedom(in some ways), with virtually no commitment.
---
lol, i don't feel "beat up"; when it seems that i am flying off the handle at a provocation, it is because i have had past dealings of the same kind, and react in a much quicker way, because now i recognize it coming(though sometimes i may misread any "hostility", i will admit). my anger is generalized, and pointed outward, so, whoever's out there, will be on the receiving end. it's not exactly personal. it just covers all would-be "threats", to keep my ego intact. purely "defense mechanism". i think i learned that in early life. also, no one takes me seriously, because i joke too much, and my anger is easily written off as angst. i am under no impression that that will change, i don't think it ever will.
---
"if i plan to stay" remains to be seen. i don't find myself to be a threat to any "harmony" here(lol, i have never seen any evidence of anything "harmonic" about an internet forum). "putting other readers on edge"? don't even get me started. do what you want, it's not like i can stop anyone from doing anything. nice thinly-veiled threat/provocation, though. that's always nice to read. at least i know who doesn't like me. thanks for the heads-up.
---
lol, "drunken thug". "unfound philosophical ideas"... not sure how to read that. maybe you could be more specific? and, i've been a "poet" for a long time. shame no one here appreciates that part of me. never got any feedback on my poetry.
---------------------
it's nice that some people like that i'm here at hc. to those of you who care, thank you. it is much appreciated. may your days be spent happily enduring the company of others, and your nights pleasantly spent with lovers who make you earn your sleep.

to those of you who would rather i wasn't here, lol, hijack a space shuttle and go visit the sun. i hear you're needed there.

well, i think that covers everything. thank you and good night, hc.

needs to stop thinking that external sources can help him with his depression. the change he needs, needs to come from within himself. he dwells too much on his sadness and/or pain. ;

I know that, trying to forge a change. Remember, I don't tell You all everything that's going on! I know I tend to dwell on it, again, I have my reasons.

Dungeon. I know he has been around for a long time, yet I can't really remember anything he has posted. Stop being so stealthy! ;

Long time? LOL, I still have bits of eggshell stuck to my backside

Last sociogram I wouldn't have known who this was, but currently Poly is one of the most hilarious posters on this forum. His depression is sad, but I enjoy that he made his own thread for it and didn't decide to shove it in people's faces all over the forum. I'm sure he'll find happiness.  Dungeon;

Wow, thanks!

Though he is depressed and expresses it pretty strongly in the thread dedicated to it, he doesn’t let it show in the other threads and is a quite fun member, funny in the VW and participates in most things Heroes. Does have an unhealthy fascination with hippos –Sanctuary ;

Hippos are cool Thanks again!

I like his hippo humor. It’s some of the best stuff in the Wastelands now. I wish he’d tell us what he thinks he’d get banned for (in the Depression thread). Hippo Sylvan. ;

I reiterate: If I ever post that, no matter where, I'd get banned, so I'll never post it. Elvin knows, he could confirm this for You.

Poly is a hippo. Blizz is a squirrel. Darksy is a pony. Seraphim is a wannabe pony. HC is gonna turn into a zoo. At least he isn't depressive anymore.  Academy. ;

Actually tried to start a collaborative long-running zoo joke, for some reason it petered out really quick.

Shifty guy, doesn’t seem like he knows what position he wants to have in the forum. He seems a bit naïve, though there’s nothing wrong with that. A young fellow, yet to find out what he wants in general. Some time for self-insight might not hurt. As a heroes faction he’s inferno, eager and excited most of the time. ;

I'm fine with my current position, thanks. Self-insight can wait for now.

Was light-hearted happy member with much wisdom in the ways of science fiction/fantasy. Now is depressed member with not much mood to share with the rest of us. I am not familiar with his language skills, so I can’t say what his full nickname means in reality to him. Very polite and diplomatic in his ways of posting. Faction- Fortress ;

Thanks! I still can be light-hearted, it's just way more difficult

Well, you know, this guy is very mysterious and down in the dumps (RLY?). It’s weird, I guess he seeks attention but then says nothing much about himself. Either way, I think he’s sympathetic and smart enough to say something interesting every now and then. Academy ;

Bolding is mine, that part is spot on... sorry

Likes games of many kinds, but now a depressed soul. Necropolis. ;

Yup.

Polly is a poster who is honestly rather amusing and a rather good guy. Since the last sociogram he has gained a bit of weight and substantiality (since he's a hippo now or something) but he is the same old poster otherwise. His self depreciation is a form of art, he can translate most things (though not what ghost says... No one can translate that...) and honestly, he is one of the better, more liked posters here. He has his own unique voice and is a valued member of this forum... If I had to give him a faction, it would be Sanctuary for being unique and an honorable member of this community.

Thanks, friend

His depressed status is almost a norm now, he's like that guy who cries with self pitty and just drowns out anyone who bothers to give him attention. I'm not sure what does this to a man, or whether it's all for the sake of attention, but one thing I know, is that I tend to mostly ignore this particular person, I've made a single attempt to cheer him up which resulted in hostility, unless he drastically rethinks the way he conducts himself, then I'll continue to consider his posts as just blanks. Inferno ;

I had my reasons. Don't worry, I ignore You too.

Inferno Ghosty has just been whining too much lately, stop doing that and live a little more! ...or at least join in on the happy spamming once in a while. ;

Efforts were made.

He is a great guy with more potential than he realizes, hang in there buddy!  fortress ;

Thanks!

Overall, my feedback is much more positive than anticipated, which is a nice surprise.

Faction: 3/3 tie between Inferno and Sanctuary, guess it fits.

lol sure. Whatever you say, bro

He went from annoying and whiny spammer to decent poster, a considerable improvement. I don’t know how much of that is him improving and how much is the spam from other people getting worse, though. Haven. ;

It's the other's spam that is getting worse. No doubt about it.

Quote:
Nooby will forever be my favorite, adorable little hate-filled noob. He no longer hates on everyone, just on a few key spammers. He has grown a bit, and actually posted in the OSM a few times! Though it was mostly to tell people to keep on track, it suggests that Nooby actually reads the serious discussions, which is a good sign for him in the future. He is learning to find a good place here, and I encourage him to continue to do so. If I had to chose, I would say that Nooby is Sylvan, free but not destructively so.  ;

WHAAAT?! You've seen me in the OSM?! Tha-that wasn't m-me, I swear
Also, I'm not free. I'm closed; trapped inside my emotions and I can't get out.

Quote:
Sanctuary why so depressed allways;

Yes, I'm depressed. Not like Poly, but I still am. I think it's because I can't socialize with people like normal kids can (prolly 'coz I don't have people to socialize with in the first place)

Quote:
Nooby is getting more mature, though I get the feeling he’s just acting the way he thinks we want him to act. Just be natural bro, be who you want to be, and always remember to have fun, sometimes you worry too much, it seems. As a heroes faction he’s Necropolis, due to his tendency to necro threads ;

Oh, I can't be myself if I don't worry much. It's a part of me.
And, yes, I act as I think you want me to act.

Quote:
I see him as a member, who gained experience enough to not be called a noob anymore. He was very active VWer, now he participates in the Glade, as well in OSM, where he posted many photos of him. His skills in the Tavern are also considerable. My respect goes for his secret work in the WoG forum(I wonder when he will post a map of his for others to play and give feedback). I welcome his activity and sense of humor. I think Stronghold is appropriate for a Serb. ;

I am an evil map-maker and I makez mapz that I won't uploadz! It has a lot of tweaking in it's future and I'm going to highschool, so there's that.

Quote:
Teenage angster. Overall he has become way more fun, since he stopped craving for attention and just hanging and being himself. Dungeon (I feel mostthink their life is crappy there);

You are very correct there, sir. Indeed very correct.

Quote:
went from QP hunter to booty hunter over the last year. His posts have become more and more detached from reality as time goes on imho, though they lack the same mind-numbing effect that real spammers have, his posts are dull, yet there are a few gems in there, though I wouldn't know where to look. He started off innocently enough and it was fun to have him around as the toddler of HC, but idk, he feels like a burden. Stronghold, you little goblin. ;

Quote:
Academy. It amazes me how fast NoobX is growing. Like a Wizard of the Seven Cities, NoobX is constantly questioning his surroundings. Always observing, learning, adapting. These are great traits and I believe that one day, we'll NoobX as a First Circle archmage.  ;

Nah, I'm prolly gonna be stuck in the third circle because I'm a noob. There is no escaping that.

Quote:
Sylvan Another learnish spammer, too enthusiastic, perhaps he should learn to think more before speaking, needs to consider his actions more to not appear as foolish and irrational as he does. ;

You can't imagine how many times I've typed a post and then thought "Screw this, this is stupid and I won't post it" before I clicked the 'submit' button. I'm not an idiot teenager and I most certainly am trying to control myself.

Quote:
He’s improved significantly from the time when they opened a witch hunt on him. He’s a bit spammy, but he’s opened a big topic and he keeps topics alive. I like him. Fortress ;

Yo, I'm a Dwarf - giant Dwarf without a beard! FEAR ME!

Quote:
When he's not wallowing in self-pity or trying to act like an internet badass Noob is an enjoyable poster who's improved a lot. Mostly, I think he's grown a bit of self-distance which means you can mess around a bit with him without having to fear any sort of sudden teenrage retaliation. Dungeon ;

I started keeping a pillow right next to me just in case I start to rage and want to punch something.

A likable figure, he has the potential to mature into a good poster but his troubles bring him down. Ditch those grey-tinted glasses and the tough get going!  haven ;

I wish it were that easy, alas it's not.

Part of what makes HC tick, he knows how to say a lot when saying little. You can almost imagine him sitting on a classy throne, savouring a glass of fine wine as unintentionally hilarious situations unfold before him, situations that demand a proper response! And we can count on him to give it. dungeon;

grumpy Finnish guy, with extreme mentalism. I feel there aren't much middleground with him, neither for the good or the bad. Fortress (stubborn man, but jolly as well) ;

He is HC's pretty-boy poster. It's because of him that many straight guys become bi. Aside from that, he's a freakin' genius! How many scientists can come up with a way to seduce their sister ina super-creative way?!?!?!?!?   Sylvan. ;

The Finnish angel. Loves a drink, loves women, loves life. (EDITOR IN CHIEFS PERSONAL NOTE: I admit I had to laugh pretty hard at that part lol) He’s satisfied with his life so far it seems, he sports a wicked hair and has excellent humour. Nothing more to say than to keep it up, man! As a heroes faction you’re Dungeon, kinda cool and not afraid to say what you please. ;

Same old directionless tidal wave, he’s usually been. I like him. Stronghold ;

You just had to shave it, didn't you, when you have a beard for as long as you do, you may find that a part of your personality is embedded in it, I'm eager to see the effects of such a drastic transformation will have. A cool guy to have around but as with most of the returning old timers I have little concrete feels toward him, eager to see whether he stays long enough for me to get to know him better. ;

The Tavern and The Other games seem ones of his favourite places to post in. I could learn from his posts in the Glade to improve mine. Big fan of anime/manga. Faction- Dungeoin ;

Although he isn’t the most frequent user anymore, he says good things when he is here and has a ton of QPs, so… Also has a pretty rocking beard- Stronghold ;

an irritating poster most times, but has a sense of grace about him. can be a funny poster. ;

I have it on good authority that he's pretty awesome, don't really know him myself. Has good taste in music, that much I'm certain of. Faction: Sylvan ;

I think what I value most about Joonas is his sincerity, if you act like a douche or a whimp he's sure to tell you immediately, and cuz he's Joonas you'll listen. He gives off a vibe of experience that I appreciate, like he's been around a lot. A funny and sharp guy, essential part of HC as well. Sanctuary;

Inferno. For soem reason, in H5 and H6, the Demons were potrayed as the most relaxed race. I can relate Joonas to that and he's also hilarious in the Wastelands. But I wish he would post in other forums too because he can be a brilliant poster. DO NOT LIKE the audio scripts thingieis in threads!

He's into anime? And he has a beard. That's it, and all you will ever need to know.  I'ma say... He fits Fortress.  Because of the beard. ;

He doesn’t post that much, but he reads what people write and remembers it – a skill lacking in some of our other members .  I haven’t talked to him very much, but he seems a sensible person. Fortress. ;

Fortress north rock, and finnish quallity's up in this guy,probbly the only good guys in the Joonas family,but decided to destroy any tie's to that thing

People seem to associate me with Finnishness, beard and anime. All of which are, well, true but not quite so much. I am Finnish, true, yet I am far from your typical modern Finn. I sport a beard every once in a while but my looks are always changing. I quess my avatar and gifs is why people associate anime with me but I have only watched quite little.

I am also a part of why some people like to hang around at HC, I quess that's what happens when you've been here for as long as I have. That I can fill a different spot for different people is an honour. *bows* Let's keep making this place awesome.

"He is HC's pretty-boy poster. It's because of him that many straight guys become bi."
For what it's worth I think you're more attractive than I am though. If you'd like we could reserve a date to compare this in more...detail?
I know it's not your thing but think of it as an open invitation.

"The Tavern and The Other games seem ones of his favourite places to post in. I could learn from his posts in the Glade to improve mine."
Thanks, I think your posts are pretty good already, so I'll take that as a compliment.

"Same old directionless tidal wave, he’s usually been. I like him. "
I'm pretty sure you don't comprehend the full meaning those words convay to me but you should know that you couldn't have chosen any better way to transfer your message.

"Has a sense of grace about him."
Just one of the little things I can account to my blood.
I also know that I can be arrogant at times.

"He gives off a vibe of experience that I appreciate, like he's been around a lot."
When your resume at this point in life is longer than what most people have when they retire, it tells its own kind of story on the person in question. While I refuse to grow up I don't deny that I have lead a life where I have gathered a lot of experience along the way. What use would all that be if I didn't share some of it with those whom might benefit from it?
But as you know experience always comes with a cost, I've had to pass up on a lot of gold from those chests to get where I am now. Nonetheless I wouldn't trade it for the world.

As for those whose feedback I didn't directly quote, you should know that it doesn't mean that I didn't find it valuable, more that I don't think it warrants a public response.

I would also like to correct some people's assumptions that I am not here or only visit rarely. That is a false impression. I might not post a huge amount but that's just because there isn't anything that I feel that I can make a worthy contribution to. I'm one of those people who might spend hours writing a post only to delete everything just before sending it. Know that I'm not going anywhere in the near future, if I suddenly stop posting/signing in completely it's because I don't have internet or I'm dead. I shall lurk in the shadows even if not always posting.

That said I would really like to get to know this person who thinks my taste in music is good. I don't know anyone who agrees with my whole music taste if you feel up to the challenge hcm me, perhaps we can have an entertaining evening talking about music!

Dungeon 3
Fortress 4
sylvan 2
Stronghold 2
Sanctuary 1
Inferno 1

I get that the Finnish and beard mean north to a lot of people but Fortress? You know I hate that faction even more than Haven? The steadfast, loyal people of the harsh north do fit rather well though. If you're a friend and need help I will be there.

Dungeon was a total blindspot. I never imagined myself a dungeoner due to that I'm kinda baffled. Is it the freedom or confidence that leads people to this conclusion, I wonder? I will need to spend some time searching for the answer to this.

Sylvan was actually the faction I instantly identified with when I first joined HC. If you've been here since then or read some of the old threads you would know this. There's a certain peace of mind accompanied with the faction that I can relate to.

Stronghold answers are partly due to the beard, no question about that. But it's a faction of strenght. I can respect that.

I'm actually opposed to a lot of what Sanctuary represents. This would warrant a lot longer post than what I am currently willing to write here. I can see where this is coming from though.

Inferno is personal freedom, no question about it. This is the second faction I affliated with myself as I joined HC back in the day. I will forever be married to demon.

I will finish with this quote:
"You can almost imagine him sitting on a classy throne, savouring a glass of fine wine"

cool, relaxed guy, same old, same old, glad he’s a mod, he’s distanced himself from the srs bsns enough to his job wel. I like him. Rampart ;

Haven Elvin, elvin, elvin. Works his mod life hard and proper. Could use a moment of peace. Too bad it seems DoC has beaten H6 for him... ;

mostly a pleasant person. doesn't like confrontation, and has a problem with even confrontational ideas, which is probably due to being in martial arts, so it cannot really be held against him. ;

Elvin is alright, I guess... naw just kidding, he is still one of the best mods here. While it was still active, he was one of our primary liaisons between HC and Ubisoft for the H6 forum. Elvin basically kept interest in the game alive long after it was officially dead, both starting and maintaining tournaments and answering any questions that came up. He is also rather active in the VW, where his whit and charm basically carry the most recent spam to the "tolerable" level. If Mod of the Year were up for the grabs, I would still give it to Cor (because he has to deal with the OSM on a daily basis), but Elvin would beat him out any day if the H6 forum was still alive. Elvin is actually closer to Sanctuary than sylvan, for though he is very lucky, he is also incredibly honorable and loyal to those who show him kindness. ;

Friendly person who seems very well aware of himself and the minds of others, I'd call it empathy. Elvin can be decisive when he needs to, not shying away from issues. There have been times where I have thought "oh this is gonna be a mod nightmare" and Elvin has just been like "yeah sorry, NO" and it's been over. He's handling the moderator role splendidly. Moving away from the moderator role, Elvin is an active and fun-loving member of the community who is always a welcome part of any discussion. Sanctuary ;

Sanctuary. I still think Elvin's such an overrated member but he has grown as a moderator. He's fair and more objective than most moderators, for that he deserves praise. As for Sanctuary, like the Naga philosophy, he's balanced in his judgemnets as a moderator. ;

Elvin feels to have 'eroded' somewhat, as if he were some grasshopper youngster and now he's gotten old, posts plentifully and he's a welcome addition to any thread, often the voice of reason and a good judicator, yet still down to earth type of guy, but the feeling still remains. Haven Sanctuary;

He’ll soon surpass 20,000 posts. I don’t know how he does it, but he manages to post a lot without deteriorating in quality. He seems to be a good moderator, though a bit slow to deal with bad posters. Sylvan.  ;

What can I tell you that you don't already know?  I'm honoured - if astonished- to be able to call you a true Friend. That should be more than enough, coming from me.Faction: Sylvan ;

Behemoth of this place, has been here so long few know the origings of his myth have been forgotten. A cornerstone of this place for me, as the Heroes 5 times still linger in my mind very well. A good guy! He is Sylvan by definition. ;

Doesn’t post nearly as much as he used too, but still has good things to say in both the wastelands and the “heroes” parts of the forums, is the main organizer in H5, 6 and etc. tourneys, a leader, but not one who is always posting- Sylvan ;

His activity and spam are undefeatable. Refers to himself as fabulous padawan of Geny. Posts mostly in the places I don’t go to. Self- sufficient. Radiates happiness at all times. Faction- Sylvan;

Not as active as he used to be, Elvin is most people’s favourite mod. If I remember correctly, he didn’t really want the job, though he’s good at it. He’s the kind of guy who doesn’t like responsibility, yet when he gets it he uses it wisely. Doesn’t really show his feelings too much, something most people seem to respect. He seems like a stellar young lad, he’s probably going to do just fine with his life. As a heroes faction he’s sylvan, calm, collected and pretty cool. ;

Dis dude can mutitask with ease. He's a moderator, H6 player and a spammer. Everyone can admit that he's awesome. Sylvan. ;

I have to admit, reading this at 6 in the morning, shortly before leaving for work made my day. Thanks guys

Just so you know, I do not mind confrontation. I'd rather chill out but some things have to be dealt with even if I procrastinate a bit - Healthy priorities and all Of course, having been through a number of unexpected circustances in the last couple of years, my mindset has seen a few changes as well though I am far from an old guy's mentality. That would be Geny I may not always be easy to read but I am by no means a pokerface.

:/

Faction predominantly sylvan(9), followed by sanctuary(4). No surprise, I would happily accept either.
