DOES ANYBODY PLAY HEREOS 3 ANYMORE?
Hey everybody, I've been trying to play an online Heroes 3 game for like a month now. I cant get gamespy to work, so if anyone wants to host a game and have a human player, please let me know. my sn is Chiefster33num69. or just message me thru this

I still play from time to time. What version is your HOM? I have SOD 3.2 and I'm completing a map. Let me know your s/n for YM or MSN if youre interested

i have SOD,AB and ROE,i still play some time H3,still like it,and for now my pc is not good enought for h5

If u describe here why Gamespy doesn't work, we may be able to help ya out, so you could meet 20-40 players each day there. Chances getting a game going that way are much higher...

Everytime I log into Gamespy and join a ladder to play someone, it always says i am unable to challange someone. Never says why, just says im unable to. Its kinda lame, any help would be great

I only play single player or hotseat with friends, but I like it better than 5. 5 feels like a blatant Warhammer ripoff to me, 3 is more of a conglomeration of more types of fantasy.

Maybe you are in the wrong lobby? The H3 lobby works without "challenges". You meet in a lobby and you can see all the palyers listed. You may open a room or join a room another player opened (ask for pass). This is how it works.

No pay, no cd (as joiner).
Maybe read the first post in this thread. Could help getting your game and the gamespy thing working.

everytime i try to download the arcade thing, an error message comes up saying " Error: COuld not load the DLL library. C:\Docume~1\User1\LOCALS~1\Temp\comver.dll. The Specified module could not be found.
Im assuming this is why its not working. Any idea how to fix this? This problem didnt show up on the other post.

That might be either your security settings, firewall, or anti-virus settings. IMO Arcade contains malware.

Uninstall Gamespy completely.
Disable all antivirus programs, then install Gamespy Arcade again.
Put Gamespy into your exception list (of Windows and anti virus program).
Now try to join Gamespy again.

This might not help any but it does no harm to try. I know for heroes v we use hamachi to host the games. I'm guessing it serves the same function as gamespy.

actually main advantage of Gamespy is that there u may find players visiting main chat...for hamachi u should know some populated networks

can someone just let me know if they play live so i can get their IP address and play them? Thats by far the easiest way to solve my problem
