Spells of the 6 circle - imagine them!

   It would be interesting to see what overpowered spells come to people's minds. Like:

   [Summoning]Phantom Army (Mass phantom forces)
   [Destruction]Disintegrate (AoE implosion)
   [Light]Holy Weapon (Add Divine Vengeance effect to a stack's attack)
   [Dark]Absolute Curse (Weakness, suffering, vulnerability, confusion, sorrow and slow on a single stack)
   [Summoning]Enchant Walls (Heal and buff up town walls, opposite of the earthquake)
   [Destruction]Ice Age (AoE deep freeze)
   [Light]Absolute Blessing (Deflect arrow, endurance, haste, righteous might and divine strenght on a single stack)
   [Dark]Wrath of the netherworld (AoE decay + fear)

phantom army ftw

I imagined some level 6 spells for H4 (one for each faction)
the ones I can remember :

necropolis : army of the dead : summon an army of H2 ghosts
stronghold : war cry : improve attack and speed of the targetted stacks, give it the jousting bonus and the double attack
academy : ??? : prevent the enemy hero from casting spell for X turns
asylum : meteor shower : deal massive damage in a large area (like inferno) and ignore a part of the magic resistance

Kill 4000 peasant and get 4000 ghost more.
In H2 abandoned mines were actually guarded well. Bring low hp troops as an accident and poof there goes your army and no one's gonna capture it now.

it works like summon phoenix, only during a battle, and all the ghosts disappear after the battle (even those created by killing enemies)

Ghost from the fallen enemies, ooh that would be a nice addition for Necropolis.

That gives me idea for :

   [Dark]Incorporeality (Grants ghost-like abilities to the targeted stack).

Give it vampirism and your stack is unstopable while it lasts

The 25 ghosts would be almost useless in that case.

They are too fragile for serious fighting in that low numbers.

summon 25 ghosts. kill 100 peasants. you have now 125 ghosts.
you win the battle, the 125 ghosts disappear.

Summon 25 ghosts, anything above tier 2 attacks them, poof gone.

EDIT: In H2 there was no incorporality.

Well why not...

Guardian Angel - Same as the Knights GA skill but can be targeted. Light

True Town Portal - Teleports to any of your own towns. Adventure

Hand of Death - Kills target enemy creature and +1 every fourth level of the hero. Dark

Eternal Fire - Damage 40+40*Power (Same as Implosion) damages the creature for 3 turns. Targeted creature gains Fire Shield ability for duration of the spell. Destructive

Mana Channeling - Gives full mana. "Summon a Well" would be a fitting name also Summon

Rune of Enchanters - Immunity to magical damage. Damaging spells heals. Runic

Release the Beast - Doubles the Attack and Defense of current creature for 1 turn. (Dragonform). Warcry

dark: Aging: halves the HP of every creature in the targeted stack (like H3 Ghost Dragons) and reduces attack, defense and initiative by 30%.

summoning: Arcane blade: enchants the targeted stacks' weapon with mystic energy, allowing it do deal 75% more damage than it normally would. The formula for the extra damage that can be inflicted is the same as the Arcane Armor HP formula.

light: mass resurrection: same as normal resurection, but now works in a 4x4 area. Healing power is 2/3rds that of normal resurrection.

destruction: thunderstorm: Hero summons a massive thunderstorm in the targeted 4x4 area. For 3 turns, any enemy creature in the target area will suffer 25+25*spellpower points of damage. If the hero has the Master of Storms perk, it will be applied to all creatures struck by the lightning bolts.

summoning: spell "bottomless pit" like the fire trap spell, but appears on the adventure map and is hidden

if the enemy hero walks on it, Leonidas(+army) from 300 appears and shouts "This is Sparta" and knocks enemy hero/units into pit

"Web" - Adventure Spell - Enemy heroe´s movement is reduced by half.
"Destroy Mana" - Dark Magic - Reduces enemy heroe´s mana

Light magic:

Holy Rage - The stack has its Initiative increased by 20% (additive with Haste), speed by +2, gains Unlimited Retaliation, Attacks and retaliates always before the enemy unless the enemy has no retaliation - then it retaliates after the attack. After a successful attack or retaliation, the stack has its ATB value multiplied by 1.5.
(Might as well be called "U talkin to me punk?" or "Polymorph into Chuck Norris")

Summoning: War Sphere (a sphere that will attack one random enemy stacks per turn with a very powerful lightning bolts, power=knowledge+spellpower*20)

light/dark (all the same): Reverse - turns all blessings into opposite curses and curses into opposite blessings. Like haste-slow etc.


dark: shrink shrinks a large creature into normal creature, quratering all it's stats.

Dark - Blood Boil - Dmg over time spell dependent on the creatures hp, will cause 20*X/50 dmg every turn (where X is the creatures hp).

Seal of the Necromanser - the Necromanser use all his remaining mana to bring back 50% of the dead friendly creatures.

Hmmm..........

Special: Combat Aid, will summon Power/Some(value cannot be higher than 1) number creeps of nearby town. Will return to town after combat.

Dark Chaos: Mass frenzy
Light Blessing of Elrath: Increase target creature's initiative and regenerate 10% of killed creatures each turn.
Summoning Phantom Hero: Create another hero who can also cast spells (share mana and cannot be casted twice)
Destructive Flash: Damage and blind
