Poll Question:
What rpg should I play?
Lots of rpgs to choose from but I don't have one that's calling to me "play, play".
Maybe some hc'ers might have a good choice...sheesh I have some catching up to do.

Baldur's Gate 2 or Fallout 2. But that's just me. 
BG2 is more epic than Fallout 2 though.
Not to mention that you can do a Navarro Speed Run in Fallout 2 and beat it in under 4 hours.
Hmm...why not BG2?

Some great choices, but you are forgetting Planescape: Torment. That beats all of them.
I'd go with either Fallout 2, Knights of the Old Republic 2, Baldur's Gate 2, Morrowind, or Arcanum. Sorry, I'm not really healpful. Those are just all really great RPG choices and I don't have enough time to really explain why.

I would play KOTOR 2.But if that does not interest you then try BG 2.

IMO...
Fallout 2 is a must  ...then BG 2  ...Arcanum, Kotor 2,Anacronox, Gothic 2 was ok and Morrowind, M&M 7 i didn't play...

Seeing as there is no Might and Magic 8 I chose Might and Magic 7.
Baldur's Gate is good too.
Maybe somewhere between MM7 and MM8.

As I'm a huge steampunk fan, I have to recommend Arcanum here since it's, beside HoMM and Hearts of Iron, one of my all-time favourite games.
Others are pretty much equally awesome.
Heck, play them all...

Morrowind is just legend... I admit that, compared to oblivion, the gameplay is quite bad... But morrowind has so much more content and an epic storyline...
Oblivion... You can finish that game in a day or two 'cus of level balance... In fact, the game is easier when you have a lower level...

You haven't killed Dagoth Ur, yet? Play morrowind. Do it, you'll feel a moment of recognition and joy once you killed Dagoth Gares and you know you're just half-way

Baldur's Gate 2!
BEST RPG EVER IMO !
Note: BG1 is actually even better than 2, if you can get your hands on it, I'd play BG1

I'll probably qualify as ultimate heretic now, but I haven't played any of those...
According to the swedish PC-Gamer however, Bg 2 is the best game that's ever been made, so that's probably your best shot

AAAAAAAh, not Gothic nor morrowind? I can't take it.
Btw, Gothic II is also a pretty good game. Though, there are quite a few bugs in it.

Hmm... I only own 2 rpgs for Pc, The Witcher and Oblivion. I recommend them both, although Oblivion sucks, Oblivion + modding = one hell of a game

Oblivion, Morrowind or Baldur's Gate.
try out Neverwinter Nights too, its a bit similar to oblivion, and its got PvP and multiplayer
