And since when did Gamespot become a official site of all games in the world? -.-
People need to learn that just because a website tells you that its gonna be released late auguast 08 it doesnt mean it will.
They just speculate.
You will need to wait a loooonnngg time before D3. Blizzard takes much time to make their games perfect.

you donīt know it sure, i hope that barbarian will be stronger in d2 barbarian was really punch bag and i donīt know player who has completed d2 with barbarian in hell difficulty(no cheating) it really takes patience to to that.

not with all characters, you just need to pick right skills and get as possible as high magic item procent and kill the prime evils to get set items or unique items.

In single player the Barbarian is actually the easiest to play with on hell

how so? easiest???????????????? Barbarian havenīt such skills for playing hell, skills arenīt powerful enough and damage cap is weak unlike paladin who is one of the best ingame hero, my favourite combination is holy shock and zeal. Also blessed hammer is good but not so good for hell.My best damage output with paladin was 1913- 13987 damage and barbarian damage was 780- 1142.Barbarian was created for being punch bag for other creatures, because you have not enough damage to kill other creatures and other creatures canīt kill you, but not in hell, in there barbarian dies really fast.

Sorry Espen, but Barbarian is one of the stronger characters to play with, especially on hell and especially if you have the right items on 
I too played with Holy shock and Zeal the most since i found that to be the most useful, but that's just me.

easiest to play with is necromancer, especially i had manage to get whole trang oulīs avatar complect with some fantastic runes and no problemo.

it really depends which skills you choose to develop, with barbarian i canīt choose the right skills i think, but with necro bone spear is useful and golems are not(only useful is blood golem). Some high level curses are especially useful and revive and skeleton mages can help a bit.Sorceress i only advance cold skills cold mastery espespecially and especially frozen orb, cold mastery reduces resistances of enemy to cold, but with barbarian i donīt know, just donīīt get it.

I never really found skeleton mages to be that great once I got into the later acts. They just die too quickly and do too little damage to be of use. For the necromancer, it's either golems or bust as far as the summons go. Personally, I like a poison build with corpse explosion thrown in for good measure. I'm not talking the patched corpse explosion though. I'm talking the original corpse explosion which was so freakin' unbalanced it pretty much broke the game. Those were the days. 
Anyone think the barbarian in Diablo 3 is supposed to be the same from Diablo 2 or is it another random hero? As to the other heroes, I think we will get something like Priest, Elementalist (or something original like that), and Thief for the classes.

yeah, but skeleton mages and just warriors can be great when you have some effective curses like life tap, in online necro and paladin together was great combo.Anyone knows the best skills for barbarian?Please help!

It completely depends on your play style. I think two of the more popular (if not the most popular) are Battle Orders and Whirlwind. I would put Berserk up there as well.

I agree with you Omega. When I played with Barbarian at times, I often used Whirlwind and Berserk.
And one thing I have always hated when playing in battle.net is when I join a game such as a rush game and there is some necro who summons heaps of skellies. It really starts to lag after a while.
One time I joined a game and there were several necros in there summoning skellies. I got fed up of the lag and just left.

That's sucks but not as much as a sorceress who teleports in, casts a couple of frozen orbs, and steals all the kills in the room looking for loot. I had that happen in a Diablo raid a couple of times. Just another perk of playing online rpgs.

Damn, I know what you mean. When I was new to playing the game and had learned of rushing an hour or so before, I joined this Baal rush game. I asked for them to make a teleport (it was 2 guys and me). They made one, and when I stepped in I got killed. They made a teleport which was surrounding in every direction by monsters. I died as soon as I got inside that portal. I was quite angry and just left that game. So from then on, I just joined games which had 6 or 7 people in them since i know they wouldn't really do anything bad.
And the worst thing was that they just started laughing at me as soon as I died and then proceeded to call me a variety of names.
