I'm going to start work on the things I have to do again on Saturday, since School has started up again and free time is getting lower. Oh well, only 8 more weeks to go and i am finished school woohoo.

I'd like to be a part of this as well, although I don't know what to say. I've got the mic and the programs I need, just no phrase English is not my native language, but I can hide my accent very well, but if you don't want me to I won't.

That's probably all you need, Elvin. If you are able to, try to get a USB headset microphone since they are much clearer. But any mic is better than nothing.

Vokial, the windows sound recorder isn't the best to use, in my opinion. I personally use Easy MP3 Recorder. You can download it as a trial. It will have all features but it will expire in about 30 or so days, but it is definitely worth trying. I have a license for it since I found it to be extremely useful and I find it much better than the Windows Sound Recorder since it doesn't just save in the .wav file format. WAV files aren't too bad actually. It is the best quality sound type, but the file size doesn't do it justice. That is the reason as to why many people save their files as .mp3.
With Easy MP3 recorder, you are able to save the sound recording in many different file types, and at different bit-rates as well which is great.
And Mytical, did you plug the microphone into the correct sound jack? It should be the pink coloured one on the back of the computer on your sound card. It should have a little microphone symbol above the input. Are you able to turn the microphone on or off? Check to see if it is off. It might sound silly, but it is a common mistake I have seen many people make. Also did the microphone come with any software? Does it display as a device in your computer? If it doesn't, then try to look on the internet to see if there are any drivers for it. The problem might be that it isn't really installed on the computer.

And as for phrases from HC, well I guess we will need a list of them perhaps to be added to the first post. We have had a few ideas in here in some of the previous pages but I guess we will need a more definite list of what we can use.

Well my mic was in the pink input and on but the windows recorder did not get anything. Yes when I plug it in I get a window with options but nothing about installing software. A link to the trial would be nice.

Have you tried this: Right click on the volume icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and then clicking Adjust Audio Properties and then going to Audio and then seeing if the microphone is listed in the sound recording box?
