Carcity's Heroes of Might and Magic VI

As some of you might know I already have one of these. But I asked Alcibiades to delete it so I could make a new and better one. So here goes.


Story:

In the creation of the world later known as Ehim nothing existed. But as time passed small creatures started creation on land. These creatures where later known as the humans but now they where weak and had to rely on their numbers to survive. But one of their kind started experimenting on a kind of material they had found digging in rocks. This material was later known as Metal. They found more of this material and started developing weapons to fight of the creatures who was attacking them. Some of the creatures joined the humans. But some creatures joined together to fight the humans. Some of the creatures who joined the humans where known as the elves. The elves and the humans together started fighting of the creatures in order to survive. some wise humans and elves didn't want to fight. So they fled to the mountains. As time passed the humans and elves who fled to the mountains started to disappear. And the others never heard of them again. But the humans and elves who stayed to fight of the creatures started blending as time passed. They became the race known as the half-elves. Some humans and elves hated this new race. They said that it was a curse brought to them by the gods. The gods didn't want elves and humans to work together. so they splitted into groups.
Town lineup:

All towns will have 3 kinds of heroes. 1 hero who specializes on might only. 1 hero who specializes on magic only and one who can use both. for an example. A magic hero can't learn the skill Attack. Only the might and the mix hero can learn the skill Attack. However the magic hero can use attacks in combat. And the might hero can learn Magic but not magic skills. so that means he can only learn level 1 and 2 magics.

Castle


The Castle town will look something like this.

Also known as: The humans.
Motto: For honour and glory, For freedom and peace.
Associated Colours: Gold, blue and white.
Worship: Sharley, The great god of light.
Core Philosophy: If you face an enemy with an advantage, the victory will be even greater.
Country/Kingdom: The holy lands.
Capital City: Haforcer, The great city on the small island in the lake.
Key Symbols: the cross of light.

Story:

When the elves and the humans splitted up the humans started a faction of their own. The humans kept the metal of their own. but the elves managed to steal some of it. When the god of light, Sharley saw that the humans no longer could match the monsters attacking them she sent her minions of light to protect them.

Rampart


The rampart town will look something like this but with more treehouses.

Also known as: The elves.
Motto: Protect the nature above everything.
Associated Colours: Green and brown.
Worship: Terrore, The great god of earth.
Core Philosophy: A War who only brings destruction is a war that will not be fought.
Country/Kingdom: The great forest
Capital City: Inkabo, the big city in the woods.
Key Symbols: The dove of peace.

Story:

The elves started to inhabit the towns from where they had first came. They also started to pray to Terrore the god of earth again. And when the god saw this he gave them a gift. He gave them the gift of peace. It symbols for everything good in the world. They used the gift of peace to protect them from the war.

Tower


This is exatly how i want the Tower town to look like.

Also known as: The humans and elves in the mountains.
Motto: Try everything until you find the right thing.
Associated Colours: Yellow and Green.
Worship: Haeloe, the god of magic.
Core Philosophy: Magic is the solution for everything. But when magic doesn't work. Use might.
Country/Kingdom: The big mountains.
Capital City: Arelore, The first town of magic.
Key Symbols: The wand of magic.

Story:

The humans and elves who fled to the mountains did not disappear but they cut of every connection to the outside world. Up in the mountains they started to use magic to survive. And they learned how to use magic for everything. They doesn't even walk anymore when they will walk far. They float on magic clouds.

Fortress



Also known as: The half-elves
Motto: Survive. That is the first goal.
Associated Colours: Red and orange
Worship: Tehomur, The god of water
Core Philosophy: In the beginning we where not accepted. Now we are powerful. Now we won't accept the others
Country/Kingdom: The land near the ocean.
Capital City: Imuhive, The city where we where created.
Key Symbols: The symbol of connection.

Story:

The half-elves where banished from the humans and the elves. They fled to the town of their first creation. There they learned that they are even more powerful than the elves. And so they learned how to survive.

Dragonkind



Also known as: The dragons.
Motto: Burn everything that is unworthy
Associated Colours: Black, red, gold and white.
Worship: The dragons only worship themselfs
Core Philosophy: Every creature that cannot defeat you is not good enough for death.
Country/Kingdom: All of the world
Capital City: Drigonac, the big cave in the ocean
Key Symbols: The dragons of union

Story:

Long ago the dragons where weak. But as time passed they became powerful. They are one of the strongest races on the world of Ehim. They see no point in fighting weaker races. But yet has the day to come when a dragon says no to a challenge.

Necropolis

The necropolis town will look something like this. Just more dark and evil.


Also known as: The Undead.
Motto: Kill your enemies, then raise them as slaves.
Associated Colours: Black, grey.
Worship: Tolmik, The god of death.
Core Philosophy: Fight until you die. Caus when you do, we will raise you again.
Country/Kingdom: Hellmeros, The dark part of the land.
Capital City: Dforis, The great city of the dead.
Key Symbols: The tombstone of death.

Story:

When the world was created so was magic. The magic existed in many kinds of ways. For ages the only way we knew was regular elemental magic. But the god of death gave a man named Simand a gift. The gift of necromancy. He mastered this kind of magic and thaugt it to his minions. As the years passed the minds of the ones mastering necromancy became twisted. They started believing that the armies of minions they had raised wasn't enough. And when all graveyards where empty they went to war. Killing the living to aid their un ending armies of undead.

Inferno


Also known as: The Demons.
Motto: The demons will rule te world.
Associated Colours: Black, Red and grey.
Worship: Purgoner, The god of fire.
Core Philosophy: Laugh wile you can cause the demons will soon rule everything.
Country/Kingdom: canerohel, The land of fire
Capital City: Devolimer, The city of lava.
Key Symbols: The Mark of the demon

Story:

when the world was created so was the demons. They were not very smart in the beginning but as time passed their brains developed. And they started to question why they did not rule the world. So they decided to change that. They left their home and started to slowly take over the land of Ehim. The monsters fhougt back but little could they do agains the unending forces of the demons.

Dungeon


Also known as: The monsters.
Motto: Crush your enemy.
Associated Colours: Black and Red.
Worship: Noone. The monsters doesn't believe in any god.
Core Philosophy: By destroying your enemy you will prevail.
Country/Kingdom: the underground
Capital City: Juhimorsac, The city ruled by the minotaurs.
Key Symbols: The snake of flexibility.

Story:

The monsters have struggled against the dragons and the elves for centuries. They decided that if they where to survive they needed a leader. They choose a minotaur named Girbek and a medusa named Liones as their leaders. Together they fhougt against the other creatures on this land. And when the demons came their position just became weaker. They had to work together in order to survive.

Thanks Sargeras. but when I looked for a picture of the dragontown I found another one who could be used for the Fortress town instead. So now I use your pic for the dragontown. And for all of you who knows about This I will just say that my brother made that and I just borrows his idea.

Although, The story of this game doesn't interest me, and I really don't want to see it as the elves vs. the humans vs. Half-elves...ect, instead many more creatures in a themed castle, I have to say the pictures look amazing.  Especially the one for tower, nice finds.

For dungeon I think a dark place crawling with monsters, possibly underground. The buildings will be primitive and not much magic. It will be ruled by medusas and minotaurs (my fauvorite creatures from H3).

Anyway I will add inferno to the masterpost now.

I'll give you a small lesson about DnD lore.

You have a human culture and an elven one. Both are very close-minded. The elves are hauntingly beautiful and they look down upon humans. Humans themselves have few problems with elves, except maybe a small taboo. You can bet you right shin that miced relations are very very rare. If this event occurs by chance, the half-elf is born. A half-elf is cursed in the fact that he doesn't belong anywhere at all.

So that's why I don't like a half-elf faction. You created a nation out of a minority, like a nation of crippled people or a nation of people over one hundred years old!

Who says we are following DnD lore?

the Heroes mythos surely is completely different from DnD. whilst DnD has it's advantages of being a reasonable system in order to create a high-fantasy world from, it is flawed because everyone assumes that people need to follow DnD rules.

Half elves don't need to be human and elf, make the elves really seductive and hedonistic and you could have a half elf factions which include Elf-dwarf, Elf-orc, Elf-demon, anything really.

carcity about your Dragon City, will the creatures be like in city of the link you posted? I have an idea of a tier 6 creature. Before i played H5 i played Wesnoth where there was a race of dragons here are pics and info:

Drakes are large, winged and fire-breathing creatures, reminiscent of true dragons.On average, an adult drake stands around three meters tall and easily weighs more than a man and a horse combined. Their skin is made up of hard scales, resistant to most physical strikes exept piercing and cold damage. Most drakes are capable of true flight and can travel long distances quikly. However, their sheer weight and bulk limits their flight ability somewhat, making them ungainly in the air. Where possible, they make use of terrain features such as hills, mountains and trees as launch points in order to gain greater height and speed. Fortunarely for their enemies, they are still quite clumsy creatures and surprisingly slow in combat. This,combined with their large size, renders them easy targets for those who dare attack them. Drakes are inherently magical creatures, with a mysterious internal fire fueling their very lives. This can easily be witnessed when one of their kind perishes in combat: its internal fire is released, burning their remains in to ashes. Despite their magical nature,drakes are incapable of channeling magic in controlled manner. While the magic imbued within a drake's body enables it to spit fire and gives it life, they have no willful control over its functions of this magic.


That is only an idea. The info and the pics are from the Wesnoth game.

That could be used for the dragon faction. Mostly I got the idea to use it from the many dragons and the drakels from the online game adventure quest. here is a drakel from there.
