I turned around just in time to see that thug run into the woods. Jermemy laid unconscious on the ground. I muttered a few well placed curses and hurried over to him.
I looked over my shoulder and saw that all the others had gotten a fair bit away. I sighed for my self and lifted Jeremy. He was rather heavy but nothing unbearable. I checked our now partly empty campsite if it was something important left. Content with not finding anything I ran to the others.

"The thug got away and he got Jeremy too" was all I said as I joined them  "Were too now?"

That night a storm has ravaged over the city of Agliath, with several twisters and Thunderstorms. We spend the whole morning looking for our Items, scattered around the Hill, where we had put up camp. It was around noon when we found them. The Barbarian and the Elven Child. Hans quickly made a potion out of Turnips ("The stench of that putrid brew will even revive the deadest Corpse", Karla scoffed) to revive the unconcious strangers. The Elven Child woke up first, and when I arrived to interrogate her, the Tall Barbarian had woke up as well...

"What happen?" the Barbarian grunted
"We found you not far away from our camp, unconcious" I replied calmly "The Storm must have knocked you both out."
"Ooh, my head hurts" the Child said. Her voice was suprisingly mature for such a small child. "Where are the others, Al'Quil?"
"Me not know" Al'quil grunted. "Me Ale"
"Ale?" Hans said who had just entered the tent carrying two cups of putrid smelling turnip tea. "That won't be too wise, Squishly, as you need to recover and-"
"ALE!!!!"
"Okay, okay, whatever you want, Squishly" Hans replied nervously. He gave the Elven Child a cup of turnip tea and hurried out of the tent, in search of Ale"
"Others?" I asked the Child "You were in a band?"
"Yes" the Child said "I and Al and Richard and Elise and Aldriana and Teller and Golaw and... Oooh, I miss them" She suddenly, without a warning started to cry.
"There there no need to cry erm..."
"Shandina"
"...Shandina. We'll bring you and that oaf- I mean, Al'Quil back to your party"
"That GOOD!" Al'Quil roared. I turned around, but saw that Hans just entered the tent with Al'Quil's ale. I never knew whether he thought the idea was good or Hans bringing the Ale was good... but it didn't matter.

"Okay, Shandina," I said "After the two of you have rested, we'll look for your Party members"
"T-Thanks, Sir..." Shandina sniffed.

I exited the tent, and immeadeately Karla came running towards me.
"Oh Hello, Mahsta Burris" She snickered in the Former Karl's style.
"What do you want?" I snapped. Karla had become a lot more obnoxious and moody after he turned into a she.
"Have you seen the Scroll?"
"Scroll?"
"Yes, the Scroll, the Netherscroll you Prissy Elven Birdbrain!" She snapped. "That bloody scroll that you forced me to look for and that transformed me into this..." she hesitated. " Uncomfortable form."
"I Forced you? Hang on, it was your Idea to search for the scroll in the first place!"
Karla ignored me.
"Have you seen it?" she asked a bit nicer this time. ("Never thought she had it in her to be nicer that the average Toiletbrush" I thought)
"No" I said "Lost it?"
"Do not mock me, chavinist- I MEAN IDIOT" she spat, blushing. She turned around and walked away, with her nose in the air, while I rolled my eyes in sheer ununderstanding.

Jeremy looked around and noticed that he was in the hall of some sort of a manor. The hall was rather stylish with red carpets, large windows and fancy stairways. It even had a few suits of armor and statues for ornaments, but none of that could hide the looming coldness of death that echoed in this place. The looming coldness of death wasn't the only thing echoing for long. Jeremy heard someone applauding rather slowly and a cold and lifeless voice that was already far too familiar to him: "I am most pleased by your progress. Who could have guessed that you would get your hands dirty so early on your journey?" "YOU!" Jeremy roared as he turned around to face the necromancer lord and charged at him with intentions to tackle him. Jeremy prepared for collision with the necromancer, but he went right through him and fell on his knees on the floor. "Oh, it breaks my heart to find you so ungrateful," the necromancer mocked. "If I hadn't... 'Encouraged' you to kill the bandit you would have been killed, or at least mortally wounded. One could say that you owe me your life... You can be sure that I'll make good use of it." "W-why?! Why me?!" Jeremy sobbed. "Because you were the most suitable person to become my herald of death. Strike terror into the hearts of the living with horrible screeches like a banshee, to do my dirty work and slay those who oppose me!" The necromancer answered with great vigor, but quickly reverted back to his regular way of speech: "About those travel plans to the north that you have. Please drop by my manor near Athkathla, it will be worth your while."

Jeremy having calmed down a bit and as his thoughts drifted off to his plans of travel he inevitably thought of the place he wished he'd never have to return to... The necromancer smiled a satisfied yet cold and lifeless smile and said: "Do not think that the bandit would be the last one. You will kill again."

Al'Quil sat down, drinking the ale and started thinking.
"A dwarf, a gnome, an half-elf and a human wizard, talking about being turned female and a missing scroll. These can't be the guys Golaw talked about can it? Well, I keep my act up for time being."

Al'Quil stood up and looked down on the gnome, from his point of view he could stamp the gnome to death. He then looked at the half-elf

"Me be Al'Quil Redmoon! Ya be?" Al'Quil said.

The half-elf looked at me, he had to turn his head upwards to look me straight in the face.

"I am Boris Lakely, pleased to met you Al'Quil"

The half-elf shaked my hand, but he sounded like he did not like to talk to me that much. Shandina then looked up like something just hit her head

"Al'Quil, when did you start to talk like that? After what I can remember you are capeable to talk normal."

Al'Quil looked at her in disbelief, he had to trick her to if his facade was to be kept

"What you mean? Me talk like this always!"

Shandina suddenly looked at him with shock, and got on her feets quickly and jumped up on Al'Quil's shoulders and examinded his head. she seemed to quickly find the cause of her worry and almost lost her balance and jumped down.

"Al'Quil, you got a big wound in your head!"

Shandina then turned to the others

"Why have no one treated this wound? It's big and deep enough to give him brain damage!"

"That can be right, when I checked you for wounds there were no such wound in his head" the half-elf said

"Well, there is one now! And why haven't you felt any pain you nimwit?!" Shandina shouted

"Me been feeling dizzy long now, hihi, the world is spinning as it always been" Al'Quil said

Al'Quil had luckely managed to give himself a wound without anyone else noticing while drinking his ale.

"We have to threat it right away!" Shandina said

She found her elexir bag and found the healing potions and bandadges. and started threating Al'Quils wound.

"This miracle mix is of a special resipy that I made 300 years ago, it's able to threat any wound in the matter of ten days! Then you will become the same good old and greedy Al'Quil again"

Al'Quil sat down and thought while Shandina treated his wound "Ten more days to decive these guys, huh?"

"Well, we better run, then." I said. I was almost panicking when I looked back and saw the giant calamity creep closer and closer. Before I full well realised we were running, but I didn't see Shalan or Jeremy nearby...

A few moments of confusion later I saw Shalan sprint behind us. he had jeremy on his back. "Damn it, Nathan, you'd better make sure we make it to the cave, otherwise I'll make you pay, somehow!" I said angrily and frustrated. I still don't know why we didn't see it coming...

"Will he be okay?" I asked

I gazed to the gash in the head of Al'Quil. the cut was straight below the hairline, and now Shandina had put his hair out if the way, it became visible.

"Probably" Shandina said. She had a serious "there-we-go-yet-again" look on her face that completely mismatched with her small body. "It will require some stiches though."
"STICHES?" Al'Quil grunted. "ME NOT WANT STICHES! ME-"
"Not so loud silly, you'll blow your cover" Shandina hissed, silencing Al'Quil, who gave her a modest nod.
Luckily for them, I was just looking the other way, as Hans just entered the tent once more.

"Look, Squisly" Hans said cheerfully. (Al'Quil scowled at the Gnome as he pronounced his newly accuired nickname) "I've got some nice medicine for your wound, from Uncle Gerhard's Garden in Athka- Oh" (she spotted Shadina, tending Al'Quil's wound) "you're already getting helped I see.

Hans looked at Shandina with much interest, as if he spotted something I failed to see...

"How did you get into this condition?" he asked, raising his eyebrow
"Probably due to the storm" I said. "Didn't you-"
"No, not him, but Shandie here" Hans said, pointing at the Elven Child.
"Me?" Shanding said, mildly surprised, wrapping a boundage around Al'Quil's head "I used to be an Elven alchemist in my days... but when brewing a Youth Potion, stuff went horribly wrong... transforming me into this... child." Without a warning, she burst into tears once more.

"We better leave them" Hans said

We left the tent.
"How did you-?"
"Know? Well, I've never seen an eight year old tend a wound with such great care, even using the correct herbs and healing methods. Not even an Elf can do that at that age" Hand winked
"Haha, Good Old Hans" I said. "Well, as soon as Al'Quil and Shandina are ready we'll leave and look for their party members. I'll now see if she has calmed down a bit" I added.

I walked yet again over to the tent, curious of what other surprises these two intriguing people would bring...

As the group start running along, Nathan starts to sing(sort of) about what he's doing as he does it. He's not too concerned about his own tone, but laughs a little, knowing he doesn't have to be.

"Up,...and over,...the mediocre boulder.
Under the hanging vines.
Hop like the pre-stewed bunny,
Over the small little stream-like water lines.
Catch the staff I almost dropped,
Then we go around the tree so wide.
Into to cave; we made it......"Nathan takes a break from his 'song' and resumes once they are actually inside"......now!
Now we run and hide!"

Nathan dashes into the deeper portions of the cave.

As the group ran into the cave they couldn't help noticing that the cave was quite moist with lots of mold and moss on the walls and the noise of water dripping from the ceiling could be heard echoing in the caves (under the noise the hurricane outside was making ofcourse). The party was running deeper into the cave and also noticed that the cave was reasonably deep. Once they felt that they were deep enough to be safe they stopped to catch their breath and do things.

In the cave they could also hear very loud snoring.

"An half-elf, a gnome, a dwarf and a human female mage...Hmm...It couldn't be the one Golaw robbed for that darn Nether Scroll, could it?"

The half-elf came over to the tent and in his heels were the dwarf and Al'Quil just remembered that Golaw had mentioned the name of the dwarf who was from the same guild as him.

"Grim...?" Al'Quil said and looked at the dwarf

the dwarf nodded and seemed speechless((I got PROBLEMS with his ACCENT allright?))

Al'Quil leaned back and taught to himself "***************"

"Do you know him from somewhere?" the half-elf asked.

"Al'Quil then leaned back and acted like he had fallen asleep and he heard Shandina's voice say "Forgot to mention that I gave him some sleeping drink to let him rest. We can wake him a little latter."

"Thank you." Al'Quil whispered. "No problem." Shandina said.

The group investigated the snoring sounds coming from deeper parts of the cave and discovered that there was a sleeping bear just around the corner. They decided to be keep quiet not to disturb it's slumber and to not linger too long for the bear might not be too happy when it wakes up to notice that the cave has some visitors.

The rest of the night went quite restlessly with tatking turns to keep watch. At one point they noticed that Jeremy was sleeping instead of being stunned wich seemed to be a good sign. Jeremy was tossing around like he was having a dream. Hard to tell really since the group has not yet seen a night in wich Jeremy did not toss around.

The dawn broke as a bright light shining in from the entrance of the cavern. The hurricane had ended quite a few hours ago in the night and it had drifted quite far off. Jeremy woke up first, or so he assumed. He quickly looked around the cave to see where he was, who he was with and if he still had his stuff with him. He was relieved to see that he was still with the rest of the group, but had lost his knapsack. He still had his short sword and whatever he had in his pockets.

Jeremy strolled out of the cave calmly. He was feeling a little stiff and chilly yet his nose wasn't runny nor did he feel like he had a fever.

Jeremy covered his eyes a bit with his hand as he stepped into the sunlight where a view of the forest opened up to him. It was a complete mess: Trees had snapped and been thrown about in the hurricane's path giving quite a clear image of the hurricane's movement, there were rocks and tree trunks lying around along with a few animal corpses and some debris that seemed like it had come from some kind of a village.

Jeremy's mind was full of woe and sorrow; the necromancer's words from his dream kept tormenting him. However he attempted to think of something more positive: "Some of that debris must have come from some village; maybe there could be something worth scavengingsalvating."

As Jeremy's mind was on scavenging, something terrible creeped into his mind! He quickly started feeling around himself and after that he dropped his pants a little bit and checked their contents. "Ah! What a relief!" Jeremy said with great relief in his voice: He was still intact. Jeremy breathed heavily for a while and felt how his heart was beating wildly like a drum. It was then when he realised that his left arm was feeling a bit odd.

He took off his top garments and inspected his left arm a bit and noticed that the entire upper arm had taken a greyish, deathly tone. "What manner of sorcery is this?!" Jeremy shouted in his shock. Jeremy turned around and looked around him paranoidly. "I Know you are behind this! I know you know! I WANT ANSWERS!" He screamed, yet the devastated forest stayed quiet and slight echoes came from the cave.

Shalan woke up with a start. A scream had split the (he thought) night. As he looked around however he remembered that they had hidden in that cave during the storm. He rose with a grunt as he stretched his sore muscles. He was still tired from the battle a few says ago, and running about carrying a human didn't make it better. Shalan realised that after the battle he had been a bit "down", tired and ill-tempered. He tried to keep it to himself and not let it go out over his companions, thus he kept a little distance from them.

He started to walk out of the cave, wondering what could have screamed. He scanned the beds quickly, seeing that Jeremy wasn't sleeping anymore. He increased his pace, hoping that nothing had happened to him. He suddenly stopped, realising that the bear may have woken up due to the scream. He rushed to the exit, quickly stealing a glance out. Seeing Jeremy stand in the middle of the torn-apart forest, a little pale but otherwise fine, Shalan turned around and rushed back in the cave.

He glanced around the corner to the bear's sleeping-place. Also seeing the bear sleeping peacefully he walked back to the entrance. He walked out to Jeremy, waiting with calling until he was sure he wasn't going to wake the bear.

"Feeling better now?"

Jermey started at the sound, franticly grabbing hold of his arm.

"Are you fine? You seem very pale."

One could almost hear clockwork turning in his brain before Jeremy answered rather unconvincingly: "Oh! Uhhh. I was just about to relieve my bladder of it's contents when you sneaked up on me. I'm all fine! Now if you could excuse me for a moment so I can finish what I was doing."

Robert woke up that morning. He was leaning with his back against the wall, his cloak wrapped around him. He could see well in the dark, part of his heritage. He had his new rapier in his hands, investigating it.

He couldn't believe that he waited two days before even looking at the thing, while he had always been so strict about this to Care. "Check your weapon for weaknesses, rid it of ornaments, make sure there's no rust, etc..." he would shout at her. Of course, he didn't check those weapons the last two days: he was busy, busy running. His solution to everything, he guessed.

That's what he did when he couldn't face his problems: run. When he couldn't face his parents he ran. When he couldn't face his home, he ran; when he couldn't face Care, he ran; when he couldn't face his guild, he ran; when he couldn't face the elves, he ran...

Why hadn't he run from Care when he first saw her?

He shook his head. A fine weapon, he thought, well balanced, no unnecessary ornaments, nothing to block the edge. He swung with it through the air, before sheathing it.

Now, where are those two rapscallions, he thought. He got up with his equipment and left to the exit, where he saw Jeremy and Shalan. Robert then decided to wake up his two other companions, before going down there. Who knows, maybe Jeremy was just having an emotional moment about hurricanes and innocents

As Jeremy was attempting to be a bit more convincing by turning around and attempting to pee while hiding his left arm at the same time, back in the cave Robert had started prodding Nathan with his foot to wake him up. Wishing to avoid sharing Nathan's horrible fate, Shariya soon pretended to wake up from her pretended sleep.

Shariya had been growing hungry during the journey and had started to look at his travelling companions like a buffet of mixed dishes. If it hadn't been for last night, she would have been tempted to feed upon some of her travelling companions. Last night after the tornado had passed, she went outside the cave during her turn to keep watch and managed to find the surviving bandit who had knocked out Jeremy. He was easy prey.

Shariya had decided that it would be time to stop having herself be the one tempted and start tempting her companions instead. They wouldn't be much fun to decieve and toy with if they hadn't taken any further interest in her other than her skills in medicine and combat.

She exchanged quick morning greetings with Robert and flashed him a pretty smile before strolling out of the cave. Outside, in the devastated forest she met Shalan and Jeremy; by the looks of it Jeremy was trying to pee, but had a little bit of trouble.

Shariya waited a few seconds before saying: "You seem to be having trouble. You might have some sort of a bladder dysfunction; I could help you with that." "No! I'm fine! Would you excuse me for a moment please?" Jeremy yelled back very embarassed and blushing; waving his right hand behind him as if to shoo his spectators off.

Shariya giggled innocently enough as she turned around and beckoned Shalan to look away as well; she had to prepare to keep this charade up for quite a while.

As Shalan was about to answer Jemremy, Shariya came, making a remark to Jeremy which made him flush and yell (seems to be a sore spot). Both Shalan and Shariya turned away. Shalan though had no intention on starting a conversation with her, he simply had a feelig of uneasy about her. (Also, speaking is hard to do with a chorus of muttering and cursing going about behind someone's back.)

Feeling restless, Shalan made a simple excuse to leave the two.

"I'm going for a walk." And with that he left.

Walking over broken trees and thrown-about debris was strangely calming to Shalan, perhaps the fact the all was laid open to him, calm and quiet. He got lost in thoughts concerning his past life and his situation here.

"Going from slave to this...I still haven't figured out if it's a good or bad thing." No one answered him but he wasn't expecting an answer nor craved one.

By now he had laid a decent distance between the cave and him, and realised that he was on his way to the battle-site. He didn't know why he was going that way, it wasn't anything special about the place. Shalan stopped. He turned around, returning to the camp, thinking that the stupid camp-stories about heroes of old age being drawn, seemingly by some higher power, to places important... was a piece of crap.

As he returned back he could smell the fumes of something cocking. He fastened his steps, hoping that the others haven't finished without him.

"Yeah, but Al'Quil-" Shandina began
"I've tought of him" Boris interrupted her.

He waved his hands and Al'Quil was suddenly encased into something that looked like a semi-transparent Egg-shell.
