They should be avaliavble normally if you save them in right folder.

You may want to change maps name in general properties so it would display on the list.

I created a map called Four islands. and when i had finished 1/4 of it I saved it to test. I saved it by clicking file and save as. and then it was saved in map folders. all the other maps where there. and when I saved I couldn't find it in-game.

Did you do like Warmonger said and change the name in properties?

The file name is not the name used in the game.

in propetries, where do u chose heroes lvl max, there is a place where u need to write the name of map(if u use the maps in campaign that name will be the name of the chapter),write there the name of map,and that name u will find it in game.

+ if it's not were named Four islands (incomplete), the map will be named "Unnamed" instead, if you are in the map selection in-game.

This was discussed several times in the past, but we always came to the same conclusion: it won't make much sense.

For example:
Somebody may have the same problem as you (map name in editor...). Now he should scroll down / read 10 or 20 or 30 pages through ONE thread to be able to find this problem (if it was mentioned though...)?
It would be much better if people who have a certain question would name the thread more precisely.
Instead of: "A really Noobish question" (which could contain ANYthing),
it would be better to name the thread: "How to find custom made maps in my maps list?"

This way everybody knows what the thread is about without the need to open it and read it completely.

You can rename it if you want Angelito. and I have made 4 towns on the map. One island is finished. and then I saved it. but I can't find it. And It is my first map. It is on another computer but the next time I  sit on the computer I will post an image on where I saved it.

Thanks I will try later when I have my old computer back (it is broken so I had to borrow my brothers).

Edit: I added The map name here: just like you said in the other thread angelito and in single scenario it works fine. But I can't seem to figure out how to add heroes except from the tavern?. When I am in the meny for select map and go into advanced options (where you can change wich town you want to have) It doesn't work to change heroes. neither can I select to get a random artifact as a starting bonus.
