If Aliens had been on Earth (which I sadly think they have not ;(  then perhaps - as other says - they use soem kind of stealth technology that makes them completly invisbile.
Most likely, they have a totally diffrent technology then us and who knows, maybe they can survive in space without "spaceships".
What I mean is, death is a part of the cycle of life. It would make no sense if a animal suddenly without any reason come back and break the "cycle". You cannot prevent death, I see no use in returning as a undead. Living animals makes some use, dead animals doesnt make any use.

How do you know that "death" doesn't actually even exist, and everyone comes back as a "spirit"/ghost? "Death" as we know it is NOT 100% guaranteed to be "natural" and part of the cycle of life. Just because when we see someone die we think he "dies" and no longer exists, doesn't mean that it IS like that; maybe he exists but we cannot "perceive"?

Why would just some people come back as Ghosts and what use would Ghosts do in the world?
Are speices/plants etc makes some use in the world, Ghosts does not 
EDIT: Death is of course natural and needed otherwise the planet would become overpopulated. Its a part of the Cycle of Life. To suddenly return as a ghost is not and seems to do no use.
Conclusion: Some belive in Ghosts and some dont - Peace!
However I agree with you that this is not a Ghost thread and this is strongly off-topic.

I really doubt that the aliens would fly in UFOs (perhaps they can teleport even) or look like small green men with big heads.
I think that they look completly diffrent then any speices on Earth and have a completly diffrent senses, minds, society, communication etc. They might be friendly or they might be like us humans (THE HUMANS SHALL CONQUER ALL IN THE UNIVERSE, WE MUST KILL ALL OTHER SPEICES AND DESTROY ALL WORLDS!!!!!!)

Why not? After all, I think those that designed these kind of aliens actually were "inspired" by some leaked information from the government that tries to cover up the existence of aliens. So it wouldn't be a shocking thing to see that the aliens are just how we imagined

I never said those stories are true, people always exaggerate. What I was saying is that those stories were "inspired" by real events that were "covered up" by the government (but a small "part" it seems was leaked to the public somehow - perhaps someone with "inside information" managed to make it public but nobody believed him and thus that's why we have stories with green guys with big heads which are actually based on the real aliens)
The stories are not true, they're just made up by people, but they were probably "inspired" by the real aliens and that's why it's possible that the aliens look like in the stories.

I think Tolkien created elves (at least how we know them) too, but he was inspired by mythologies

Poor argument since I - nor anyone else here - NEVER claim(s) to know for a fact aliens exist
While the chance of some higher power existing who created this world is X or unknown - and furthermore the existance of religion can be explained with astrological history and political motivation, which undermines the possibility of an actual God existing - the possibility of alien life existing is simply put, small. But at least it is a chance, which I personally find higher than the possibility of a God.
That aside, what's with the Green men? I've heard stories that the SARS virus came from outer space, in which case it actually qualifies as Alien life.

I said it previously as a possible reason, but here's it again:
Most people are not fond of the idea of aliens (and this thread is proof) walking/being among us. They don't like it, so to prevent panic, they cover it up.
OR, they want to use it to their advantage, they think they can possibly get some technology or something... competition

Does anyone know whether there are alien sightings anywhere else, but America, actually?
but enough with my questioning! Alien life exists!
Somewhere... But not here! And an alien wouldn't especially want to contact some ex-astronaut who had is day and maybe would want some attention again...
Btw, did anyone know that it's practically impossible to tell there's actual intelligent life, here, from over a distance greater then 500 km?

If the Bush administration can remain in power without having been arrested and charged with accusations of being a War criminal and starting a war under false pretences, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to cover up THAT as well.
