Okay I've had all the HOMM's and the latest version is good. Ilike what they have done with the creature groupings and abilities/upgrades. The only real downsides are
1) the 3D map is a nightmare to navigate and get a feel for the area. the 3.5 2d maps are way superior for PLAYING. Yes it does look nice, but the candy should be in the fights which they have added.
2) the game play has slowed down. It takes a lot longer to play a game now. Partly due to the nice graphics and dedicated screens. Yes it looks nicer and is helpful, but it does slow down game play.
I guess I'd like to see a 2d map viewer, so if people prefer the flash they can stick with it. Use the same map details just show it in 2D.
