Kulrath: The elves look interested again. "We now of two breeds of puca: the ones that travel mountain paths, and the ones that haunt graveyards. Both are known to be extremely dangerous and are to be killed immediately, just like nearly everything else on Shadowmoor. If you are puca, even one with unknown abilities, we will kill you."

Coroloatan mubled to himself "Well...He is atleast competent enough to be average...something that's quite unusal for people here." Corloatan opened his mouth and made a sound that cuted through the air and spread with the smell of poison "Well fine...what do you want to know? ... well first... some basic information ...your in Shadowmoor..."

Kulrath's face split in a sly grin.
"Just too bad for the Puca that I killed it before it killed me."
He changed into a Puca, as he remembered the one he'd met. He had met it at a graveyard, and turned into it to make sure he were its equal. The elves startled and they rose their weapons. Kulrath turned into a Cinder, one of their shamans.
"The elves won't trust you, you are too special. They won't trust anyone that's not an elf, they are a strange people." his voice faded away and he turned into the one of the elves. "Are you really that short sighted? Would you kill someone just because of their past, and not think about what you could do with that persons abilities when it is on no ones side, and needs someone to take care of it?"

I came to this world to gather knowledge about the abilities of its inhabitants, their magics and...", for the first time in this conversation Amakar's eyes shone, exposing some kind of emotion, "...technology! So, you tell me where should I look for it. The goblin that you devoured mentioned something about the kithkin,but he also said they were very paranoid towards strangers. Do you know anything about that?"

Coroloatan looked at the mage and though "He truly is a blue mage..." then he coughed a little amd said "Yes, the kithkins....white mana mostley...but also green...they are parnoid against strangers..., but I could help.. you... to go among them.... without them noticing your diffrent..." Coroloatan said and pointed one direction "Their over there somewhere..."

Or, you could be a faerie illusionist - and your petty mischief would harm more than help us if we allied. We elves have fought side by side with kithkin, boggarts, and even merrow, at times. But mimics? Never. Faeries? Only in the direst of situations."

Vand just watched the exchange ammused. Taking a seat in the grass he looks around in the distance for any trees. He is much more comfortable in the arms of a forest.

Hmmm... not many nice looking forests anywhere on Shadowmoor. You do see a forest, but its very dark and foreboding:

"I've never seen a mimic, what's that?" he asked, and then shrugged. "I don't know how I can convince you, so I'll let you decide now. Do you trust me, or don't you?"

Amakar tries to analize the situation at hand:
This creature is so very strange and not only in his appearance. He helps me out of boredom? Is he hiding his true intentions? Is he leading me into a trap? And even if he speaks the truth, would he turn on me if he'll find something more "interesting" to do?... Whatever the case may be I need to be careful around this guy. And still, he seems to have lived a long life here, and I desperatly nedd a guide in this new world. I guess it would be best to ally with him for the time being.
Resolved at what he must do, Amakar speaks:
"Alright then, creature, I'll trust you. Lead the way to the kithkin cities... and while we're on our way why don't you explain to me how exactly are you going to calm their paranoia when someone like me travels with you?"

Coroloatan just pointed against an direction "That way" he said before he started walking. "I'm gonna calm them by doing this..." Coroloatan changed for into a kithkin and made an illusion so the mage suddenly saw himself as a kithkin aswell.

The sentinels suddenly look a lot more menacing...

"Oh, I gave you a choice ... didn't I?" He started to change, his body started changing. "Have you ever heard of a Duskdale Worm? I were lucky enough to get away after encountering one..."
His body towered over the elves, and he waited for them to make their next move.

Amakar looked closely at his companion and then at himself. Still observing the two of them he speaks to his now much more pleasant looking guide:
"A shapeshifter and an illusionist - an interesting combination. And I suppose that's what kithkin look like... intruiging. I guess we're ready to initiate contact now. Shall we?"
