last night i started a hot seat with sinitar and deleb, and after 2 weeks sinitar was like lvl 14 and deleb lvl 9...
I start playing in a Multiplayer-Hot Seat-Standard Game with Sinitar agains 2 Sylvans with starting heroes Findan and Alaron (I have the Unlock All Hero MOD) and was lvls easaly identical to yours
And to finnish : Sinitar is a Good Hero
 I just don't wanna speak about a hit and retreat tactic with Sinitar... but let's just assume : 2 or 3 Empowered Meteors... or 2 Armagheddons... hmmm... [it's a coward kind of thing acting like this... but nevertheless it could be done]...

I like fairness due to my nature [libra  ]
[as a side note and good reason to laugh : in Heroes 2; it happened just once in evil campaing with archibald, the MoFo comp had a wizard castle and 3 Heroes that we're able to learn armagheddon; he did exactly what i described in previous post; each of them came with only 1 titan - cast armagheddon, retreat... needless to say in 2 days - 5 heroes; all 3 of them in first day, and 2 re-recruited from tavern.... beat up my ass badly... i felt relentlessly stupid and idiotic... i just remained stunned in front of my monitor... thinking... this MFu..er really plays dirty... after the stun effect passed I just laughed my ass; after that... I've loaded a previous save with a friend he said hmmm : I'll crush the wizards... everything finished in the same way, i brought a bottle of wine and we laughed of ourselves  ]

Huh? What about Havez, Sinitar, Vayshan, Grok, Telsek, Kaspar, Ingvar, Karli?
Inga? You MUST be Joking. Even Vinrael (a rather bad Starting Hero) is much better
i have written a ( ?) at inga which I meant as a second hero in later game... havez is looking to be the first hero not the starting one altough i always choose him as my starting hero also.
vayshan= nothing special... i mean assasins or stalkers are not so good afterall...
Sinitar)= ok well yrwanna is better, she has intelligence, which means a few more spells in earlier game.
Grok= nice but not lifechanging..more as the second hero.
telsek= good, but haggash is better.
kaspar is the first hero, and ingvar, karli are average.

i still say urghat is the best
i was playing dragon hill against a friend earlier.. and by the end of week 2 (which was also week of disease)  i had captured all mines.. and leveled up to 14 or 15... i had expert logs with warpath and snatch.. along with powerful blow ^^
i even got the gold mine which is guarded by 13 wraiths and 22 poltergeist.... i lost 3 trappers
my opponent was necro.. and he finished his move wayy earlier than me... i just kept fighting and fighting.. while at the same time gaining more movement points... the stables only made things worse XD
i wonder how far i can move once i get the boots of the swift journey

It's hard to say.
Havez is pretty darn amazing with having all 3 war machines and starting with the war machines skill on top of getting a big stack of gremlins and specialization in gremlins.

wizards have low chance for logs tho.. and even on small maps movement is important... i just never saw why he was so great  maybe pick him as your main and whatever hero you get in tavern switch to him as main and just take havez' army and machines

Nathir with Havez's troops could be pretty amazing. It would take some luck though.
Havez is one of the few guys I buy regardless if I'm academy or not I mean, with all those war machines, you actually save money by purchasing him, so why not? I still think he's a pretty impressive hero just by himself because he starts with war machines and you can build off that tree from the very beginning. Otherwise, it could be a while before you're even offered war machines.
By late game, yeah, there's nothing better than Rutger or Urghat.

yea i do that too ... when i play academy i actually pick havez as my starter... and use the other hero from my tavern as my main
this at least guarantees me that i have warmachines and a boatload of gremlins
you can try doing the same with dougal... but he pwns anyways so i dont really see the point
