Still, don't forget people experienced that feeling of euphoria and much more. And still got bored of each other after few years. Was really true love? Sorry for being a boring butthole, but you know, it's better not to get too excited  Too high expectations lead to a painful crash if you collapse. I know all about that

Thanks mate. I know that there's possibilities of it not working out but we're both trying not to get to those and just being as perfect as possible. We'll see how it turns out but I am very sure that this is it for me.

how do you prove that love is an emotion?
as far as I know, people link love to happiness, anger, sorrow, fear, hatred... which are all different emotions, so how can love be one emotion?
is there even such a thing as love?
if there was no word such as love, what would you say? would you still convince yourself in a way or another that you are in love or see things as they are?
for example, you think about a girl (or a boy) all the time, so you conclude that you are in love. but how do you know it? the fact is you are just obsessed with that person.
isn't it the main reason for this word actually? people talk about love all the time, but often they seem to not know what they are talking about. we know how feelings caused by "love" can be frightening sometimes, and since people are too afraid to investigate and discover the real cause, they just say it's love and then they imagine they understood everything.

Because Love is all of that. It in itself, imo, is an emotion that can also create other emotions. Discussing about it though won't lead to anywhere as everyone has their own interpretations of love based upon what they have been through.
Anyway, a little update. We're going very well. A few arguments but what relationship doesn't? It only makes it stronger if you're able to get through them. I am still so very happy.

If you have never felt this way, then love does not exist for you. If you have never felt like this, the my pity goes out for you, because you are missing out on something beautiful, something breathtaking, something that you can look at before you go to sleep every day and smile at. Personally, I don't care if you can prove it, as long as you don't try to take it away from me. Love makes life... Good.

This is nothing to be proven, if you are in love you feel different. Individual feelings you can get at any time but with love it's another level. And thinking about someone says little in its own, same can happen with a crush or temporary attraction.

the feelings aren't love, you can be extremly happy or extremly mad without love involved.
