Not atm no. I have heard that I can be quite charming if I want to be though. I always find it silly for a person to say what make hims "smooth" or "attractive" since oneself is hardly ever a good judge. I don't have a "style" or "mode" or whatever people use to describe their specific behaviour when they try to hit on girl.
I'm good and talking and I'm no frankenstein either. I always found that charm wins over many other things guys have to "offer".
But dude when I was 14 I had a girlfriend and I did lots of stupid snow I regret horribly. So don't be dumb.

Can't stop thinking about her... Started planing on how to tell her how I feel. It is going to be a major step, but I've got one more year so I can slow down a bit.

Wow dude. You don't even know how she feels about you, or if you guys can enjoy eachothers company as a couple, yet you're wasting all this energy focusing on her and developing feelings which may never be reciprocated. You gotta have an amazing mind capacity. Just try not to promise her something you later don't want to keep true to.
Personally, I would have thought doing it the other way around would have been smarter, but that may just be me. I mean, yeah, we don't choose what we feel, but we do choose on what feelings we want to focus on and develop. Then again, if your life is unsatisfying in general, maybe you have no choice, but then you risk bringing her into something unpleasant. Then again, what do I know? It's not like I really know this kind of stuff, it's just thoughts.

How well do you know her? Have you ever tried talking with her?
Don't say that you still have an year. Don't isolate yourself and "train" so you can be cool for her. Things don't work like that. You'll make yourself even more nervous. You don't wake up one morning and realize you are awesome. The only way in which you can eliminate your fear is by taking with her.
Anyway, there is a good chance she knows you like her. Girls are pretty good at spotting this. And if she knows, it's great. At this age, she doesn't expect you to make money/have a good job/be muscular.
Just go an talk with her. Don't say "I love you" and don't be romantic. Try to be a very good friend and be awesome. She realizes that you like her before you tell her, and if she grows to like you she will give the signals to act. Try to befriend her friends, be a part of her group. If you win them, you will have much better chances.
And don't ask the most basic questions, and not on a forum. That's the easiest way of scaring yourself. Nobody will came and give you a step by step manual, you only learn things by experience. By asking these questions, you are now unconsciously telling yourself you are not capable of doing anything, and that you depend on others.
Just enjoy it and be happy. She will find out pretty damn soon you like her, and usually they enjoy finding that out.
