problem on line...your turn...no...it's your turn
I have a very annoying problem when playing on line. During battles with my human opponents, most of the times it seems that they see on their computers that it is my turn to move and I see that it is theirs...We play on Hamachi and this problem only appears during battles. Do you know why? Can you tell me a solution? (I am sorry if there has already been a topic on this subject but I could not find it).I have to tell you that this thing happens to others in my area and we almost stopped playing on line because of it.
Thank you.

I have Complete...I do not know about the others...I will ask them...Do you think that we should all have the same version? Have you encountered the same problem?

Well, the versions should be compatible in order to be able to play. But since you made it to this point, i guess they have an ok version of heroes.
I have had this problem a loooong time ago, i do not remember how i fixed it. You may try to refresh heroes registry. Place this in your heroes 3 main folder: http://www.lrh.ro/ro/downloads/patches/refreshregistrii.rar

This sounds more like a data transfer problem. One player (red) has sent data (--> next (blue) players' turn now), but other player (blue) didn't recieve this data (--> still turn of red player).

thanks Angelito...but I do not think this is the problem because one player sees the other actually moving or attacking with a unit but in reality this does not happen...

I have seen this problem too. The longer the game has gone the higher the risk this will happen. I dont think there is anything to do than to load.

We tried load...no use...we uninstalled heroes and installed it back...useless...it is curious it does not happen all the time...it might be a pattern for battles with lots of units and you might be right, Maretti....

This may prove my point
If u play a multiplayer game, and one of the players loses connection, his turn is immediately played by the computer. Which can only be seen by those who are still connected.
So it seems one of yours loses connection, can't recieve any fresh data and his screen is "frozen". The one who is host, or the player who still is connected, sees actual screen and the comp took over.
Have u tried to write messages during that "happening"? If you all can still type and read all messages from each other, my theory is nonsense . If one of you can't read any messages, my theory could have a point....

Well Angelito...you do not want to know exactly what kind of messages we sent to one another before figuring out that indeed there was a problem...everybody suspected everybody of cheating.
On the other hand, I think you might get a point there because our network used to crush a lot...short interruptions but still...I think it is possible that for a brief moment the connection was lost, the computer took over but it was fixed shortly after and we could send messages but the game remained ruled by the comp...
I am not an expert anyway...maybe others too could tell us their opinions about it, especially if they had the same problem. For our community it really is a major problem.

I experience the same problem. It occures when:
-a stack dies or gets morale bonus
- you order your units to wait or defend
I guess the other computer thinks of its own. So if your CPU decides to give morale to a stack, the other CPU won't necessarily do so.

It happened to me also, and just with a morale bonus on my friend's dendroids. His computer thinks it's my gremlins' turn, and mine thinks his plants got a moral bonus. We just loaded the game, but can't fix this bug definetly.
I think it's a connection problem as Angelito said, an error in sending and recieving data.
