Indeed no one seems right or wrong here.
In tote though all these hit and run arguments come out again, its because of swift mind and last stand and mentoring perk for all races i guess
So maybe ubi is wrong here, they better wake up their idea of balancing

Yeah, good summary, Destro!
Also, I'd like to remind what our leader Ves wrote:
Quote: Are you really forced to fight one final battle and then call it quits? Thats just lame, boring, and undynamic. Once again, TOH is no rules, unless agreed upon mutually by players.
I fully agree with the thesis about "lame, boring, undynamic". Using allegory, it's more exciting and creativity demanding if combatants shoot arrows, fight swords, throw daggers and play dead for opportunity to make a final blow than just a dull exchange of fully armored tank knights fighting to throw opponent on ground where he cannot stand up by himself
Yet, in my games I'd like to have following agreement with opponent:
1. Mentored kamikazes are banned;
2. Play only maps with access to schackles for both players.
In conclusion, even though games with HnR are extremely rare, I'm glad that understanding and interpretation of this phenomenon has developed further, though still remain incomplete.
As for those unfortunate cases of quarells, I encourage all of us to employ double layer of tolerance and try to talk out the issue rather than "teach a lesson" or attack opponent in forums.

I presume this one was referring to me. So, I would like to add to that:
As for those of us who are generously spreading wisdom on this forum and trying to define rules for everybody else: they should be extra careful in doing so, maybe even think it trough before posting, not relying on "moment of inspiration" only. The worst thing they can do is redefining and changing those rules afterwords, with every new page of a thread.
Also, I would like to thank you for comprehensive and detailed respond to my post Proved my points 100%
Good day to you, Rule Maker
