Wow Tazar fight annoys the hell out of me. No tactic allow so Rogue just come straight in and kill 3 stacks of Sorc instantly (they are much much MUCH stronger than WoG version). Killing everything is manageable, however the resurrection part is just painful. I was extremely lucky to reduce Rogue number to exactly 1 and out resurrect his damage.

The only legitimate way I can think of to have an easy fight is getting Block for Sorc, merge all into one stack, reload until I have Double Block, cast Force Field, move Sorc in (assume that I have upgraded Fly), then kill Rogue instantly.

I don't recall setting a battle where I lose 3 full stacks on first round. If Tazar has tactics you start with clones, I think there is a way to split sorcs and avoid direct hit.

So.. what is the needed damage for you to win the last battle comfortably? I upgrade my Sorc to about 3k dmg (which is enough to one shot everything in the old version) and boy I got horribly stomped. 200k Hell Hydras, 200 mil HP Scorpion King, and 400k Titans + 200k Darkness Dragons in the next turn seriously?! Should have warned the players because Emerald Towers are gone at that point and there are no ways to turn back (can upgrade more before but I thought I have already had enough dmg so I was lazy to upgrade). Luckily I kept the save before removing the Emerald Towers, finish the game with 48k dmg per sorc.

Well, the map is playable in one afternoon, majority of battles are very short, you only has to go straight away, so it is not a big deal to replay. In general I have a problem with personal warnings into maps events, it cuts the plot, so all I can do is make a readme giving the large details. The tew4 read me was much more details because map is terrible long to finish.

MAP FINISHED

Great work Valery!

This is possibly the craziest map I have seen.

The numbers are just all over the place.

Took a solid week (50+hours) to finish this map, very insane fights, I chose to finish it in under 120 days so some fights literally took hundreds of reloads.

Some of the fights involved really clever use of mechanics to figure out especially since I only started increasing dmg at Marius so I had to find ways to save the ammo cart for those very long fights.

I had to end some turns towards the end to boost the damage to at least 1000 to advance past Marius. Once it got to 1000 everything became a total joke, last fight was fun.

No cheats were used, just clever use of mechanics and glitches as usual

Pyre involved some very complicated use of dispel and blind to create a living wall of demonds (so didnt have to keep wasting mana on force field) eventually everything was cleared




The rest of the images are mixed up from different stages.  I can upload the saves later.

What do I need to open the map? I wanted to look for some custom battles, like the one in the Death chamber but all my versions of the editor report errors.

And I'm curious. (I tried the map but I don't know how to beat the wyverins in the forth combat)

P.S. I must say I've found the code in the Death Chamber very ilustrative.

 I use sorcery school and select magical immunity, 100 mithril needed for full immunity. I don't have enough, choose magical immunity option, school says I'm low on mithril, but I still get magical immunity, object visited.

yeah I checked, it seems that ability doesn't look for quantity you have, but it subtracts after you buy, so now you are certainly with minus mithril, right?

old maps, was newbie at scripting, and also when I test I don't look for loopholes, I buy only when I have the price.

Actually, it didn't even substract my mithril, I had same amount after buying when I checked. It's doesn't matter though.

For some reason, if I don't have enough mithril it won't substract either mithril or resources, so I don't even need 30 of each resource. It substracts resources and mithril in every other case, so if I have enough mithril it substracts both mithril and resources and it substract resources if enchantment doesn't need mithril.

I need a help with Crag Hack (end game hero with 4 stacks of 2k rogues and 2 stacks of sacred phoenixes). His rogues just decimate all but 1 or 2 stacks of my sorceresses and I can save all but 2 thousand of them at best, and for this I need to get morale twice in a row and expert water magic for Clone. I tried to divide stacks to create same tactic as Sandor (Gorynyches guy), but no luck, rogues choose to kill real soreresses instead of clones. So I'm kinda stuck.
