Can someone tell me what the RMG settings for experience and resources are doing ? There are possible values of 1 to 5. Multipliers ? If yes what resources are multiplied ?

A fan of the spanish community, told me that Ossir loses the spell Arcane Armour, and Irina also loses Magic Resistance.

It seems the replays in 3.1 are also much faster. It doesn't "wait" pointlessly between some turns anymore

Indeed, if you set the RMG to default, it will always generate a level 1 on the multipliers.

Resource 1-5:  The more resource piles you will see unguarded randomly on terrain.

Experience 1-5:  The more treasure chests you will see unguarded randomly on terrain.

I find a good balance is around resource 3 and experience 2.

Monsters -- Strong for a decent challenge, but not extreme especially when playing in heroic mode.

Not impressed by the water map setup, basically the mountains that block the separate lands now is turned to water.  

Underground has definitely been improved, but still prefer to play without underground.

couldn't figure out experience...

Seems like "resources" should include treasure chests..that is why I was confused.

I agree with you settings and summary as well.

3/2 or 3/3 is fine.

More changes from the spanish community. Specifically, one of our players has founded two more:

- The orc skill "Defend us All" now gives you 15*week goblins.

- "Imbue Arrow" now doesnīt work with some Summoning spells, as "Fire Trap" or "Arcane Crystal" (I donīt know if the names of the spells are well written, but I hope you know what spells Iīm trying to say)

Thanks SeLu87, the help is appreciated. Good change about defend us all, that's 1/3 of the original and a lot more balanced - even with mentoring now it's not a deadly threat. Double the amount of warriors with castle each week used to be 2x22=44.

The spells Arcane Crystal, Blade Barrier and Summon Hive, could be duplicated with Mark of the Wizard

PD: Thanks Elvin, this site has also helped me a lot. I wouldnīt have realised without this thread the changes in the balance. I still donīt understand why these changes have to be discovered by the fans.

Before 3.1, the Wizards couldnīt do that. Now they can use: Mark + Arcane Crystal (for example) to duplicate it. We have an "Academy expert" that has confirmed this point.

That was because you used past tense, otherwise your English is fine Sigh these days my net is experiencing problems so I have not played much with 3.1. Wonder what else is waiting for us to discover, I kinda expected there wouldn't be any more.

Wow a patch! and I only noticed it just now,
...but wait, now i have to update 6 mods

Does someone already know something more about these new
'proc factor' lines in the defaultstats.xdb, It is discussed somewhere
page 4-5 of this thread but i don't believe I understand.

If there is a chance these abilities will not trigger based on HP ratio, does that mean the arcane archers are actually nerfed because the ignore defense effect will not be triggered sometimes?
