I see people take the Quote Wars game too SPAMingly. Not much OSM material, and they exaggerate, it looks more like a VW thread than a Quote War OSM thing. 
Cut down on your quotes, wth. instead of replying with "beer sucks anyway" and "you tell me wise guy"

Nah, it's all right. Maybe it needs a bit more SIRIOUSness, but the amount of quotes itself is typical of the average quote war.

So?!? Those are true "silly" Quote Wars!
Quote Wars are not "civilized" discussions. There were a lot of Quote Wars in the past, and that's why the OSM gained the reputation of a penalty-place.
This is not the "Calm Arguing" competition, sheesh.

AFAIK penalties are not good.
If you get penalty in a serious OSM discussion, it's like you get eliminated from the game.
so keep it that way if you want

No, this competition is about Quote Wars, and Quote Wars are about penalties (they're not civilized discussions)
So I guess you get extra points if you would get a penalty in this competition. This is not about Serious and Calm debating in OSM, that's what the Calm Arguing competition is for

Quote Wars are the ones I and mvass were arguing. That's where all this hype came from.
but you say they "suck" anyway, ever wondered why you don't get how they work?
BTW: CoC applies in this game as well. I don't think you want to trade a "penalty" with a "Gold medal" if you think that's how the game works

Ehm Asheera no need to get so worked up. Mvass and Death are actually right. I mean the word "quote wars" refeers to their discussions... not just randomly putting a lot of quotes in a text and then answer them with oneliners...

however why I feel you got "off the point" is that you treated it as a 100% joke. There's a contest called "creatively spamming" where you have things like what you did 
Also, Quote Wars are not "calm arguing" because we might have some prejudices, etc... but they are most certainly not some form of "joke".
By the I agree, it's hard to be serious with that opening, but now we got it rolling

I do have a good word to say but the CoC permits me from saying it (TheDeath, you know what I'm talking about ). Let's try to keep this thread free from arguing and maybe try to get on with the more important stuff like the events?

dropping out of hc Olympics for several reasons. first and foremost being that i missed it while camping. second is because of time zone. third is because i don't understand the rules of most contests.
