New Creatures Framework for TOE 3.1

It says that original game was not found,

Before that, returns several errors about missing creature files even though I've just extracted them today.

there is a problem with one of your mods. yesterday I had that problem with radar's enchanter, downloading the patch only isn't enough.

if your errors are about my " H5_Game.NCF.exe "
then this is surly caused by files's date.

" NCF__Core.pak " contains a GameMechanics/Creature/Creatures path with Creature_xxx.xdb without monstershared tag

The date of these files must be older than real ones.

the most recent date in " NCF__Core.pak " about Creature_xxx.xdb is
22th january 2008

the same file in regular ncf mod must be most recent than 22th january 2008 to work.

I don't have installed the new creatures of day.

My most recent creature in game is crystal dragon.

Tell me a creature which you have a problem.

I just found editor unable to load my map after taking following unusual actions:

1.Setting hero attack & defense to 666
2.Giving him CREATURE_389 (Balrog) which does not exist yet.
3.Changing his controller to player other than 1 despite he was on the reserved list and was given this player-id by default.

However when I erased these issues by manual edition of map files, it didn't help. So I guess the problem is elsewhere.

I've erased all files and now I'm on my way to install all the mods once again.

I didn't touch NCF editor because it already crashed before patch 3.1

Someone must know if the NCF editor 3.0 framework 1.1 was hacked for 499 slot limit.

If yes, (I think yes) then we have a serious same problem as the problem that
H5's rmg doesn't work with " H5_Game.NCF.exe "

However, All NCF creatures up to 499 perfectly work in game.

not necessary,

only if you aren't able to see it in the editor.

of course it's better to have the most recently version of them.

Editor scans (_AdvMapObjectsLink) of all NCFs to get their Shared.

If the shared is not present or mistaked the Editor will crash.


Tips: you can reset Editor's icon cache by deleting

{H5 root}\Editor\IconCache\AdvMapObjectLink\MapObjects\_(AdvMapObjectLink)\Monsters\NCF


This folder is created by « Complete » folder from NCFs while the Editor is starting. then it scans complete folder to obtain icons.

At the moment editor creates very long creature lists and crashes trying to fill it.
I will look for possible solutions only after exam session.

... remove all NCFs you suspect to have bugs.

... NCF mods must be in data folder with .pak ending for Editor be able to see them.

... you can begin by remove all NCFs and re-put them piece by piece to know which ones work well.
