I agree with Xerox, WC's lore is much better. And EA is near failure No one will play WH for days, I have Mark of Chaos and I played for ... a week? But the game still has atmosphere.

Asheera, you are a foolish little rouge, Yes EA is only publishing, but if "Games workshop" goes against EA, EA will not release it - You need a publisher and a game maker, but the publisher always seem to have the last word, which might screw up the game..

Lol Warcraft lore is much better then Warhammers.
Warhammer lore is just about Good VS Evil - people are evil for no reason! Even the Demons in Warcraft have a reason for their burning crusade!
I just meant that the Warhammer felt lifeless and weak compared to Blizzards. Blizzards trailer also looks like its in real life, its so good done Warhammer looks like LOTRO on high graphics lol....

I suppose xerox never read warhammer novels...
Anyways, Warcraft is awesome in it's own way, but overhyped and the creators are killing the franchise, now, smothering it to death.

I dont agree. I feel that the lore is developing very good with the comming of the next expansion.
It will be nice to see the razing of Orgrimmar - the rebellion of the Death Knights - the Cleansed Ashbringer - the Scarlet Crusade beign tricked to northrend - the Argent Dawn and rest of the Scarlet Crusade becomming one faction, the Argent Crusade - the Silver Hand is about to become the Silver Fist - the High Elves rejection of Blood Elves in the Kirin Tor and there conflict - the Nexus War between the Dragons and Mages - the invasion of Northrend - the Forsaken releasing their new own plague to turn Scourge into their own troops and ulitmatly kill all Alliance with it and become the new Scourge - the mysteries of the worlds creation and the titans.... etc.
I feel that the lore is getting great with WotLK. Aslong as Arthas doesnt die completly im happy (sadly Malygos will die... -.-, Alextraza kills him).
The Silver Hand... is about... to become... a Fist.
Uhm and currently Warcraft & Starcraft is much more popular then Warhammer and Warhammer 40k (which I finished in one day lol).

That's the difference: Warcraft and Starcraft are just two stupid video games, whereas Warhammer is a complete world like D&D and there are Warhammer board games as well (and it came out in 1987 I think)

Seriously, it's like saying LotR is worse than Warcraft in story just because the video game LotR sucks... come on

Yeah, Warhammer has probably a much more complex universe because its old.
But that doesnt change the FACT that Blizzard games are more popular then the Warhammer ones (and Blizzard universes too).
Also you like saying that the Warcraft universe and lore is small... which is totally wrong.

Are you aware that most of this "popularity" comes from PowerGaming and good marketing rather than "lore" and "awe" at the game?

Frankly, death, the warcraft story was good (not counting wow) and had wacky chatacters and likeable protagonists plus a nice ongoing plot. They even showed faint signs of humor. All the factions had a sort of balance and they were well designed, all had a purpose and their own characteristics (the troops).
