As for me:
- Finnish
- English
- German
- Spanish
- Swedish
(- some portuguese swearwords)

Except my native? English and HORRIBLE French. All I know about French is how to say "I don't understand", "I forgot my homework" and "Can I go to the toilet" because that's all I ever needed on French lessons in school lol. Excluding some basic words like Oui, ofc

Well, as long as you can say "Je ne parle pas francais, mais je parle Anglais!" or "Je ne sais pas mais je m'anffiche!", it's ok.
Lol, I can't say anything right in French.

(chineese/japanese - cant remember which)
Those are what we can learn. or what are most common to be learning. We get english in 3rd grade, then we get german in 7th grade (and you can actully also get french but it is outside of the school) - Then when we get to High school, we continue with German, english and french, and you can now pick spanish aswell - And on very few high schools you can learn chinese/japanese aswell (rare)

I was brought up in Dutch and bugarian. I learned all other languages at school.

My native is Hungarian.
1st foreign language: English; learned it for 11 years and will learn it for 2 terms this (school-)year
2nd foreign language: French; I was taught for 4 years, though I like the language I disliked Monsieur le profeseur and his teaching technicks. I managed to gather some basics anyways (I hope so).
I also know several expresions in latin mainly due to the 1 term of anatomy I had. But I always loved latin sayings and I used to learn some off by heart from a book. (You know, those books full of wise roman sayings like "Alea iacta est." or "A saggitis Hungarorum libera nos Domine." )
I sometimes wonder about ancient Greek only because I love the alphabet and it would be cool to be able and read it

What? I've had 1 term(i think this is the expression, never bother to check it in a dictionary anyway) of french, and the teacher was awesome The problem is that i NEVER had the passion to take it to level 2 and changed class after that 1 year.
So every french teacher is not a *cencored*?
