To update the information on the languages I know/study.

Finnish, Swedish, English, French and Japanese.

I also recently learned the cyrilic alphabet and some Russian words in the process. I like it alot. I feel really gruff and manly when pronouncing words like "produkt" and "restoran." Having no problems with the seven variations of "s" boosts my ego like no other. Might as well just start studying Russian.

Still Swedish, English and my progress in Spanish? Nooooot so good. Spanish is still the worst subject in school. I can now understand finnish people not liking to be taught to speak swedish.

I should have chosen German instead because it is more related to Swedish than Spanish so german should be much easier to learn but unfortunaly, once you go spanish you never go back.

For  us Norwegians, all we need to do to learn German is to listen a bit and change a bit of pronoiciation, and then properly learn it.
Spanish is hard to learn, there is just not enough spanish films being spewed out to the public popular marked T.T

I didn't take it for either reason. Spanish class had all the hot girls in it so that's why I took it. It's a matter of having the right priorities.

Russian (native),
English (Like this language, seems pretty simple to learn. However, my progress is very slow as I do not speak with natives).

Tried to learn Italian, French and German, with no result though

For me German phonetics is simple, but grammar, yes, it is almost as hard as Russian. I was dating a girl from Germany (sweet times). I remember her "r". It is only problem in this language I think

If you speak about Russian. This stuff called 'padezh' and this allows us to put words into sentences almost in free order. For example, "Ya lyublyu tebya", "Lyublyu tebya ya", "Tebya lyublyu ya", etc. mean almost the same - "I love you".
