I never loose with dungeon ranged units, still if you look it this way: meele has always better stats than ranged units (excluding collosus& titan here)-...
ivisibility is a good skill, still it fails to deliver outstanding results.

It's not like i never use ranged though, sometimes I will go for the shadow matriarch. But stalkers are better the whole way around, in my opinion.

Normally someone will attack dragons, furies or grim raiders first. Or hydras of course while you can still do some damage with your army  Would make no sense to go for assassins/stalkers when they are bigger threats around.

i usually go unranged in early and mid-game,but in end game i re-upgrade stalkers to assassins.i use always melee version of witches

Hmm... I only use Assassins in Sieges, when you can hit and poison units you barely can reach with Stalkers (without losing them, that is). Ditto for Matriachs, who are able to give quite a punch before the enemy reaches them. The thing that bothers me about them is the Melee Penalty making them very vulnerable to melee attack. I'd say the Mistresses are better overall...
Btw does anyone know if Eruina's special works with InvisiMistresses?
