I saw a few glitches like that in half life 2. I read the developpers' wiki and they said they didn't bother fixing them since most players wouldn't see them. (it's true that I'm very slow, since I try to visit everything)

That becomes increasingly easy to do same or better than a professional.

(Juste a notice () It is easy ON BASE of a professional creature => Make a right-animated centaur in 3D... It is not so easy ; make a texture that approaches the reality... it is not so easy...
=> I DID NOT say that fauch's work wasn't incredibly beautiful: it is by far one of the nicest NCF according to me )

I can build a level in a 3D editor (the more complex I used is hammer) but I'm not sure I will be able to make a creature.

actually only bad developpers don't do that.
good developpers don't texture the parts of a model / level they think the players won't see, because if they did it, it would make the computers / consoles generate textures for nothing.

An awful lot of textures in HV have no "back".  For example, aside from the Centaur, the Priest has no head under his cloak, and Liches... aren't anatomically correct, let's leave it there

A few of them are the complete opposite though.  You can take Kha-Beleth to pieces - his cloak, helmet and armour are all "subdivided" into seamless parts.

But a few of the problems can be fixed if you set each .xdb to "2-sided Texture".

yes and I know also that is empty inside the creature

texture being just a thin skin....

But I'm think the stronghold centaur model hasn't a hole in its neck, yes or no?

The 2-sided method is very special, and to use with parcimony. Try it with a ALPHA_TEST alpha mode, you'll see strange effects
Indeed, the good developers don't make textures under texture. I learnt that when I wanted to remove some clothes to creatures...

Yes, you are right, there's no hole there normally.

Just on the subject of Kha-Beleth, here's something one could do with his model

Which is why I think it's nice of developers to create their models like this, if only because it allows for more customisation.

It is very difficult. I tried several months ago, and they are too much things to set with this creature (effects, moving, attack,...).
I won't approach it anymore

Yes, Kha-Beleth is poor in animations

but this picture proves once more that this creature will be cool like NCF.

Already in H5 campains, we can find Kha-Beleth's animations are poor
