CREATURE_GENIE = 342
The keywords 'CREATURE_GENIE' is already used for creature #65 (standard creature)!
I have 2 variant for renaming item #342:
a) CREATURE_GRAND_GENIE (idea by Lord_Immortal);
b) CREATURE_GENIE_RAJAH (idea by Lord_Immortal)!

Hi Psatkha!
in all, 4 NCF were in trouble by using already ID about original creatures.
the solution I applied is using their « MonsterShared » Name.
so, the MonsterShared Ref. for #342 is
/MapObjects/Academy/Djinn.xdb#xpointer(/AdvMapMonsterShared)
then the ID will be CREATURE_DJINN
that's work also for the others 3 NCF in trouble.
I don't have right now the list of these 4 NCF, but If you want it, I will give it to you.
To resume: the ID is fixed by using the name from their MonsterShared.
P.S. I can't wait to get your 6 next NCF, especially your really new « Woman Knight » as I seen on ZZima.com

Hi,
I just installed the NFC mega pack and I already encountered some new creatures.
Is it possible to upgrade to the 3rd alternatives from town or is a hill fort required? I tried to upgrade a skeleton to skeleton mage and I could not find a way to to this.

the Heroes V «engine» (the exe) just allows exactly 2 upgrades a town.
so, It's entirely impossible to have up to 3 upgrades in a town.
(except if you modify the exe)........
you can get the 3rd upgrade in a town by using a "swapping" creatures method
and so replacing an already upgrade by others.
ex: the swapping creatures method is also used to replace 6th tier necro creatures by death knigth lot, or dungeon witchs by manticore group.
but I will not explain these methods here.
of course and as you said, the hill fort stays and will be always the best solution. after all, the 3rd upgrades are a little bit neutral too.
about skeleton:
the skeleton mage is not an upgrade of necro skeleton....so it's normal you cannot obtain it by upgrading the other one.

3 excellent creatures. Psatkha's great as always.
Textures and animations just too nice.
Indeed 0 points for sounds!
I know you change sounds sometime but you should always change the sounds.
ex: Pikeman are really cool, but each sound is « Peasant »,
however, Pikeman wears iron armor...where is the """clikitie""" sound from moving armor???
same thing about Satyr....all Minotor's sounds...and Animist shot sound too sounds as these of Mages...
You know you can take sounds from others creatures and use them for new creature....I'm sure it exists already a kind of armor clikitie
into the data.pak, true new sounds will always be the best.
Moreover, « Deadly Strike » for Pikeman is seriously exagerated.
I badly imagine 20 pikemen killed 25% of tier 6 or 7 of 80 units and more. Also this creature has really too capacities.
Animist is still one of your « darkness » creature with a lot of darkness spells....but the creature is really well-created. the game
needed that. I'm speaking about the visual, of course.
Animist has a bug into its GameMechanic files,
BaseCreature = CREATURE_LICH instead of CREATURE_UNKNOWN
btw, bravo for your great work.

"Pegasuses are the wonderful creatures which are born only in the day of a summer solstice and consequently they are very rare and do not meet in the Irollan, but they can be met among wild rocks in the north where they reside enjoying free winds. Pegasuses are quite well protected against magic, they are enormously strong for holding the enemy in check, and their horn is capable to blind the enemy by the flash of light."

I very like this creature.
ArchWarlock made an excellent work in all.
except for one thing...Pegasus has not a horn!
just google "pegasus" for images of to note that. Pegasus pictures

Ok! I understood
If we remove the horn, a "hole" will be in the head.
so the horn must be meanwhile the real re-modeling capacity.
exactly like the Lycanthrope's iron pieces.

I don't think a pegasus has a horn, but it's not very important.
nice units, but they have too many abilities as usual.
satyr : the berserker rage, cowardice and taunt combo is somewhat funny. makes you think twice before using berserker rage. not sure it's necessary to have both bash and crippling wound, but it's an original set of abilities.
pikeman : how do they bash? they are fat and wear an armor, how do they perform swift attacks? how can they kill half of a stack in an attack? is a spear a good weapon for cleave?
that leaves the abilities
-rider charge
-armored
-unlimited retaliations
-battle rage
the animist seem pretty cool actually, but as simonak said, you have already made many creatures able to use a lot of powerful dark spells.
for the pegasus, I don't really see the point of unlimited retaliation. the problem is it is too similar to the pristine unicorn.
what about
-flyer
-immune to blind
-child of the light
-aura of magic resistance?
