HC Olympics: H5 Knowledge Quiz
Welcome to the Heroes of Might and Magic 5 quiz of the HC Olympic Games. The work on this quiz was done mostly by Elvin, who wrote all the regular questions, while I wrote the creative ones. Regular are based on facts and game experienced, and the creative ones are about creativity and logic, although they do require knowing the game a bit. When you finish, you will sure have enough knowledge to have a small online match.  Good luck to all!
There's a guessing limit of 8 guesses. No more than that!
Regular questions:
1) Assuming you have sufficient damage to kill a stack in one attack is there a chance that you will receive retaliation? Fire shield etc does not count.
2) What is earthquake effective at destroying?
3) What does master of earthblood affect?
4) Ways to prevent a shooter from using his ranged attack?
5) How can a hero achieve a spell effect without casting?
6) Which skill abilities were changed for 3.1 and how?
7) Highest abount of damage you can receive from retaliation? (No need for calculations, describe situation)
8) Name one combat AI change.
9) How can the opponent dispel puppet master he has cast in one of your own units?
10) Can a succubus seducer’s special affect wraiths?
11) How can someone unsummon your phoenix? I do not mean kill.
12) How can you maximize the effects of empathy?

13) What ability will keep your creature sparkling clean?
14) When you want to "read your enemy", just fight against...
15) What is the most radioactive creature?
16) We are common but precious. We live in the underground, and without us you wouldn't be able to play.

Yes, with Bad Luck, or Missing due to incorporality (and the rune too)

Town Walls, Gate, Towers, Blade Barrier
3) What does master of earthblood affect?
Earthquake, Fire Trap, Blade Barrier

7) Highest abount of damage you can receive from retaliation?
Fighting a Battle Griffin who retaliated against 100+ enemies until its turn and with a Horned Grunt leaping towards it
8) Name one combat AI change.
It moves when you are invisible with your Stalkers, and it's much more intelligent regarding Furies and other units (it doesn't follow ONLY Furies like a fool now)

7) When you miss on a creature with Incorporeality, you get max retaliation damage from that stack (you don't kill anything)??

Yes, if the enemy has Last Stand, bad luck or incorporality.

Blocking him, Expert confussion, Puppeting an enemy next to it, Puppeting the shoother

Now the AI doesn't care about summoned and gated units anymore they go for the real units.

7 is along the lines Asheera posted. Naturally I don't mean a number.
About 1 assume that the attack DOES hit. Incorporeality is just one of the possible answers.

Blocking him, Expert confussion, Puppeting an enemy next to it, Puppeting the shoother, blocking him with Blade Barrier and taking all of his shots out with the Poltergeist (assuming the enemy has no ammo cart)
6) Which skill abilities were changed for 3.1 and how?
Fog Veil and Storm Wind were improved. Fog Veil decreases damage of ranged enemy units by 25% instead of 10%. The effects of Storm Wind doubled

Immunity to Fire, as you will not experience the soot effect from Fireballs and Armageddon? Immunity to Magic and Enchanted Armor would do the same.

None is correct/complete.
@Alc: Those are CREATIVE questions. Meaning they don't have a lot to do with gameplay. Remember the questions that I made for TDL's third round at his last quiz? It's something like that.
