I have checked the starting resources of Human player on Hard and Expert mode, they are actually: 20/10/20000

But the information you provided in the mod was 20/15/20000

Wrong information ??

Will this AI mod work when playing multiplayer? (local)

The descriptions are obviously missing but the difficulty slider is the same as in singleplayer with the mod activated. Would love to play with a friend and intelligent AI enemies.

This mod works in LAN, but for Singleplayer and hotseat Quantomas Ai is better.

Yeah, I wish Quantomas Ai mod would work when playing LAN. :/ But at least we got this mod to improve the AI a good amount. Thanks! There is one problem and it would be nice if you could tell me how to fix it. When playing specific maps or the campaign and choosing normal difficulty the map objectives are particially or completely missing. This doesn't happen on hard difficulty. I couldn't find anything which would cause that problem in your mod. Do you have some insight on this matter?

I don't think that can be caused by this mod, be very careful with any other stuff you install such as custom maps and rtmg.pak, they can contain a lot of bloatware, making modifications to your game you don't know about.

This mod causes the problem. I tried it out on several scenario and custom campaign maps (and even old campaigns mod for tote) and on alot of missions the objectives are gone when playing with this mod on NORMAL difficulty and when I disable the mod the maps work fine again. Though ALL of those maps work on hard or higher difficulty without problems. I have no idea why only normal difficulty is causing this problem as I checked the file for differences in the normal difficulty but there aren't any changes whatsoever. Hard difficulty works though so I just play hard difficulty from now on. It is more fun anyways.

(But seriously, why the hell does it work on all other difficulties. I even tried it out without ANY other mods installed and it still has the same problem when this mod is enabled.)

But hey, problem solved by using higher difficulties I guess.

I just tested around with the bug a bit more. I think the only scenarios effected are the ones from hammers of fate and the original. The scenarios of Tote seem to work fine. (at least the two I tested)

But I found a way to fix that problem! Rename the difficulty levels back to easy normal hard heroic and you can play on the lowest setting again. That is still pretty damn weird though. Try it out with some of the old scenarios (move them into tote folder) or one of the old campaigns by using a campaign mod. You will see that your mod doesn't work if you play on normal difficulty but if you change the difficulty name to easy and try it again it works fine. Maybe change the names to the vanilla ones again to have custom campaigns and custom or old scenario maps work?

Ehm. Can someone explain like telling the idiot. How can i use this mod? I have extracted files under UserMODS folder. How do i know i have installed this? And i am installing H5_Pest (permanent endless turns) but it seems another ai mod has it's own exe? Is there a way to combine them?

I have a 2 questions.

1-)I am developing Heroes 5 mod as you know and i have realized this file has it's own BaseHeroesMovement etc etc. If i will use this mod, is it ovverrides original data files? I want to use my own DefaultStats ref table but i want to use your ai mod too. How can i combine them? Or, your DefaultStats already works with DefaultStats in data folder?

2-)Is your mod lowers ai turn lenght? It is the most important part for me.

So i just finished a game on "champion" difficulty using this mod, on the map "War of The Worlds". And i gotta say this AI is completely dumbed down into oblivion. Its far easier than the default AI. Champion difficulty=easy difficulty to me.

I dont conquer castles, and i just let the computer take everything, especificaly to make the computer as strong as possible, so that i can have a challange. I also give them time to build up while they have a lot more castles than me. Well.. soon there were only 3 players left.. me, Blue and Yellow. The both of them controlled everything(and for a LONG time), while i had only my castle for the entirety of the game. Naturaly i could see them moving around doing whatever... and i could see the size of their armies(which was mediocre..).

They would split their armies into these multiple heavy scouts, and then just move around, as if waiting for me to kill these weak split armies, of pathetic stupidity banana tree cimbing apes. One of them.. decided to take my crystal mine near my castle. Then he just sit around there, as if to protect it with his pathetic army, 3 times smaller than mine. I went there without even wanting to catch him, and he didnt move. So i atack and killed him with near 0 loses(using Stronghold), and he had a huge pile of artifacts which i toke. The other "scouts", i was forced to fight with(only around 2 times because they wanted to kill my hero helper), they just fled on first move(which is good). I had ZERO big battles with anything, except for neutrals, cause everything was weak and miserable.

Then eventualy when i was tired of farming and was lvl 26 i could see their castles(cause i scouted them), and they had barely anything in them. I atacked one just to make sure, and he had for example 6 of his lvl 6 units, while i had 56 of my lvl 6 unit. He had 6 of his lvl 7 and i had around 23.

How is this suppose to be an improvement?you call this a challenge!?. Let me tell you something.. if you want to make a challenge for an advanced player like me, the AI needs to at least control double the amount military might that i do. Your AI is pathetic easy, meant for very low IQ people, from Heroes 3.

Waste of my time.. . Give the default AI town portal from the game start, give them the ability to town portal to any of their towns, configure them to amass armies with 1 single high lvl hero and atack/defend snow, give them mana free creature summoning, give them all their army loses from battles against other AI and then maybe it will be something better than the deault AI.

The default AI is unstable and sometimes is REALY powerful, sometimes not. So it only needs to be improved, so that its ALWAYS REALY powerful. I want to be atacked by an AI with 3x to 10x bigger armies than mine, so i can actualy break a sweat. It only happen once with default AI, and it was great(and the AI had 2 of them).

Have you tried on e.g. tiny map with two gatekeepers between you? I got rushed out pretty quickly (albeit, I'm not good at playing)

I'm kinda surprised the files for this very outdated mod are still available, but in any case this AI cannot be weaker than the default AI since IT IS the default AI, just with extra cheats and limitations on lower levels removed.

If you want a more challenging game, just use H55, even if the better AI disappoints there will be a lot of other challenges.
