Pc game

I winder to buy a new pc game but i dunno which game.
I clearly don't want any simulator or mmo games. I had enough of RTS for a little while, but i'm, currently downloading spellforce demo. Is it any good? Also i don't want any fighting game like tekken or something like that. Maybe an fantasy rpg, but not the ones with teams and characters. maybe more like World of Warcraft or Titan quest, expect that i am NOT going to buy Wow. But what should i buy? I haven't heard anything about Kings bounty: Legends in a long time.

Well the second is not THAT bad, but it's more like Warcraft 3, only "worse" - and I don't like fast-paced games like WC3

Spellforce 1 is more like a combination between Warcraft 3 and Settlers.

Story is pretty linear but entertaining. Personally I like Spellforce, it's an excellent combination of Settlers and action-style, but more on the Settler and that's what makes it good. It is also a good combo of RTS-RPG.

There are some things I would improve but that's just my personal taste. For example, the food costs (are too high and imba for some races that can't breed their own ).

The story is somehow good, but not excellent. BUT the campaigns are enjoyable. Also, if you have the SF1 expansions, you'll have a new "coop campaign" (can be played single) which is extremely long, but has no story.

Still I found it very entertaining. Also, the 30th coop mission is almost impossible, I warn you

Is that the one with the never-ending robots?  That mission flat out sucks.  Nothing like fighting an unlimited amount of enemy soldiers that attack constantly with dwindling resources. That's why I rank Spellforce 2 better than Spellforce 1.

As to a new game, I recommend:

1) Titan Quest Gold.
2) Sacred Gold (it's $10 on STEAM and you get a lot of game)
3) Dawn of War Platinum.  4 games for $30 or so isn't bad.
4) Supreme Commander Gold
5) Neverwinter Nights 2 Gold or even better;
6) Neverwinter Nights Diamond.

Actually that's what made it challenging and interesting for me, you had to build up a defense first to defend from the attacks, and when you grow strong enough you can advance to the enemy's base.

If you can stand a difficult game, Divine Divinity might be up your alley.  It's an rpg that's quite difficult in the beginning.  Actually, I won't lie to you.  It's down-right frustrating in the beginning.  It's been a long, long time since I've played a game where I've died so much in the beginning of the game.

Another you might look into is Vampire:  The Masquerade- Bloodlines.  It's a first person RPG available on STEAM that's very entertaining.

Let's see, what else.  Oh yeah, Dungeon Seige 2 and Broken World are entertaining.  You might like those.

As to Spellforce, if you're playing a melee character, fighting off endless waves and watching your troops get slaughtered over and over isn't very fun after the 10th reload.

King's Bounty, The Witcher Enhanced Edition, and STALKER are also great purchases if you have some extra cash lying around.

After beating both Sacred Gold and Divine Divinity, I can tell you that you get a lot of game for your money from each.  Sacred is fun until the last fight of the expansion.  Then it just gets stupid.  I've never been a fan of SNK Boss Syndrome and the final demon guy loves it.  One shot kills lose their charm after the 2nd time.  Thankfully you resurrect where you die... only to be killed again.  And the ending, my God that was lame.  You get a 10 second outro, told to export your character, and then you go grab a beer.  I still don't know what I was trying to accomplish in the expansion.  But the pros outweigh the cons.  For $10 you get 8 character classes, 5 levels of difficulty, and two games.  Not bad.

As to Divine Divinity, it's really difficult in the beginning and about level 8 or so, it becomes really easy.  All you need is a sword with cold damage and the game is a cake walk.  By the end, it's pretty dull and only two bosses are dangerous to the protagonist.  If you can handle a fairly standard plot and a very difficult beginning, Divine Divinity is also worth $10.
