Aand we have a finalist! Congratulations both, good games. About the last one haven did not play so well, I believe that it could have won.

I don't know..haven played that pretty well. Although I would have started with mass haste or mass righteous might rather than endurance.
You want to take out the enemy as fast as possible with haven v dungeon, and the creatures damage is not the thing to beat, rather its hero spell damage. Opening with mass endurance I think didn't help!

First off endurance could not nothing against the raiders as after 5 tiles they reduce defense by 100%. Secondly resurrecting 2 paladins was a waste. The crossbowmen attacked the assassins of all units. The archangels attacked the hydras close to the paladins so that a fireball could hit both. Imperials dived the assassins instead of the hydras..? Conscripts again close to the squires so they could be fireballed both even if the warlock didn't. Crossbowmen attack 4 hydras than the minotaurs which is a waste of damage potential, especially if you consider the other two aforementioned units that could have done the job and were far from the minos.
Not to mention that all the haven units were set for a lovely empowered meteor when the duel began. A swift mind would have finished it before it began.

Sometimes we play with the mouse clicking in our brain, and sometimes we play with the brain clicking in the mouse....
Just guess witch one who's the best way...

Actually I did wonder what was with Mass Endurance as well. It doesn't help much against Dungeon where the most annoying are the Destructive Spells (which ignore Defense)

I just played 2 duels with Elvin… The first one was Haven(elvin) vs Necro(me). Summary: I was winning thanks to a powerful phoenix and Implosion with slippers, but when I was sure I was going to win my phoenix starts to get stunned by every attack and then I do the most epic noob mistake of Ashan’s history… I cast summon hive leaving my hero with 0 mana, meaning the hive couldn’t cast wasp swarm AND would drain the little mana I would get with the mark. My phoenix dies, and with 0 mana and almost 0 troops I lose inevitably.
REPLAY: DOWNLOAD
The second game was a bit boring. Academy(elvin) vs Stronghold(me). Ground obstacles snowed me up again and I couldn’t move my units properly, thing that would have probably cost me the game if Elvin didn’t have suffered a disconnection. We’ll play this duel again.

So we played our first match with Final_Boss, the classic good vs evil duel haven vs necro! One of my best matches for some time now, it was impossible to tell the outcome until very late - many surprises along the way. Enjoyable game, thanks Final_Boss
Also we played the second match academy vs orcs but there was a d/c sometime after the middle so we will have to replay it

Since only the final remains it would be better to try it in the new version. Some people already have it but I made a few more changes and renamed it to 3.0 to avoid confusion.
I'll copy paste the basic changes:
- The following artifacts have been disabled: Unicorn horn bow, skull of Markal, rune of flame, robe and crown of Sar Issus, lion crown, armour of forgotten hero, windstrider boots and cloak of death’s shadow.
- Orcs no longer start with fear my roar.
- Starting perks revised. Orcs start with might over magic/memory of our blood, sylvan with imbue/rain of arrows, demons with consume corpse/hellfire and wizards with motw/consume artifact.
- Slayer has been added to sylvan’s avenger list.
- Added 2 warmachines to each hero.
- Added a new area with two lvl 3 , lvl 2 and lvl 1 shrines. The crystal of revelation, sphinx, well and arcane library have been moved there.
- Gave cloak of sylanna to inferno.
- Armageddon banned.
- Terrain changed to sand to make summon elementals more useful.
Extra rule, visit well before you use mentor.
If you learn intelligence and visit the well then don't erase it just as it would be cheap to sell a knowledge artifact after using the well.

So everything had lead Final_Boss and Me to this point - the Final!
We are having our duels in few minutes so wish us to make a great & epic spectacle!
The result doesn't matter that much - I was very pleased to meet some new Heroes , learn new things about my beloved game(life )and I hope Ive made myself more famous at HC
Boss I wish you good luck and ofc I wish GL for myself
