That's kind of another case. If you have it you won't avoid hitting golems because you are afraid it is unfair, besides it's not even a confirmed bug. Ignite does not deal magical damage nor is it affected by magical immunity so..
Edit: Btw zamfir is missing one match still If you are still interested we can play within the next few days, just for the sake of completion.

Lol, I started cracking up in the 2nd match. Mamgeater wins the gold prize for weirdest necromancer play style ever. First I saw mass deflect missiles, then I saw summon phoenix, and then I saw mass confusion, and then I noticed basic attack. Plus he somehow managed to use spells from all 4 different magic schools in his first 4 turns. It was so chaotic and mamgaeater'ish.

Haha at least necro's have high spell power so even if you're not high in mastery of the school you will have a somewhat potent affect from a school.
Happy New year gang btw THat necro/inferno match was intense!

I won 2-0 vs fiur... The first one was a Dungeon (me) vs Haven (fiur) and the second one was Fortress (me) vs Stronghold (fiur)
The first one, we had a problem. We were fighting, but suddenly in the middle of the match, the game kicked us both out. I told fiur to repeat it, but he gave the victory to me, itīs true that those kinds ruins everything. I donīt know if itīs possible to do that, but i donīt mind to have another match.
The second one, I used Fortress, my favourite faction, in the standard way iīm used to play with them. Also I had more luck that I needed, specially with the spells I could get.
Edited:
Dungeon (selu87) vs Haven (fiur)
Fortress (selu87) vs Stronghold (fiur)

Disappointing that it crashed in the middle of the fight but 1-2 more Deep Freezes would win it for Dungeon anyway. Should have charged the Raiders first to prevent Lizard Bite imo.
The second one, well the start was nice for Stronghold with that Cyclops run, you're lucky it wasn't a lucky strike
Other than that I enjoyed Gobos running into the firewall, it should have happened more often

Just watched the replays, Stronghold didn't stand much chance in that one, for some reason... the Fortress units just acted too often, I think because of Mass Haste.
For the other one why there were no upgraded Angels and Peasants? Lack of gold, I presume?

Sorry Rubicus, next time Tournament is running for a week now and the slots are filled I'm afraid.
About the replays it seems fiur forgot to upgrade angels in the first one.. Haste and divine guidance on paladins could not have helped with the warlock's turn coming right up and without archangels also attacking the other side he didn't stand much chance. Dungeon also had a pretty impressive attack, they did some insane damage with chains..
The second one was more like it, good game There was an early mistake with leaving both battleragers and bears exposed to cyclopes but there were some tactical moves afterwards to make up for that The dwarves had a pretty good arsenal of spells, looks like the orcs did not have the right shatter.

I believe it indeed was the lack of gold, made me think about that. After training (on adv counterstrike) and upgrading units you have 20k of gold left. Not much for arties, forget about mentor
It makes Expert Counterstrike a vital skill to preserve 10k of Gold on training.
You're in trouble if you bought arties first.

It's a shame that first game was cut off. That was some nice action from the Brisk Raiders; they really are one of the more underrated creatures.
For the 2nd one, "ouch" is all I have to say. A good light magic Fortress player is just scary.

The setups were pretty good, maybe I'd have preferred light vs dungeon. If only you could puppet the raiders or dragons in the beginning..

I made several mistakes at the beginning of 2nd combat. I didnīt really noticed that cyclops were able to attack the battleragers (thought that they were slower), I was surprised that Chieftains could attack both battleragers & bears on the first turn, but I didnīt realize the extra-speed on Cyclops & Shamans...
Big mistakes, but it shouldnīt happen more. Iīve played lot of times against Stronghold, but Iīve only played them in the campaign. It is not a faction that I know well but, there were elementary mistakes on elementary things.

I don't think they initially could but unless I'm mistaken the barbarian used battlecry. Except the attack bonus it gives +1 speed.
