Will do  Meanwhile you will have some time to get familiar with the map, if you want any matches I'd be happy to oblige. The duel tactics thread may also help but that's more of a theoretic approach and you are better off gaining some first hand experience

I'll have to disagree, second battle was also close. When I realized that I could have killed the ballista in first turn I had a feeling I'd lose out of stupidity. Was also pretty lucky with dragons attacking the centaurs out of taunt's range and you getting the wrong shatter. Also my blinding luck was pretty good and elven luck was a major help. It was a waiting game to outlast the orcs' endurance so an all out charge was out of the question, I only wanted my high speed units to give me morale boosts so I could cast more I was dribbling the goblins around to prevent them hitting me lol! Funniest thing was the arcanes, they only shot twice and even survived till the end of the game, now that's rare.
In the academy game it was obvious that I went all defensive as well. Since I got decent defense and the defense skill I figured I was better off to skip initiative arties on titans/kshatras and go all might. I already made sure my gargoyles and djinns could act first to block the champions and the archangels could not reach me because of stormwind. I did not have haste or RM so it was a dilemma to have mass endurance or disrupt the haven fliers. Chances were I'd deal with imperials so I went for it. After the champions charged my plan was to block them from further charging which also halted advancing forces from reaching my titans. What I might have done differently was archmages cleansing than fireballing the champions, maybe I was hasty there. Also I was stupid not to block archangels with saboteurs, again hasty. The phoenix was a major life saver and master of conjuration allowed it to live for one more attack. Sometime halfway the battle I decided to change the game with mark on the archangels that helped slow down the game, a risky move since I gave up on my resurrection casting speed. Those brutes were damn effective almost lost there.. In the end consume artifact proved doubly effective with my titan's already low hp and teleport sealed the game.

Hmm, the second battle was pretty close too... mostly those Treants were left...
And what's with all those artifacts in Jhora's backpack? I guess that's the negative effect of not checking all artifact merchants and planning accordingly, hmm?

Light & Might Dungeon is always a cool combo...22 Attack is awesome and I can't believe that those Stalkers took out so many Arch Demons in one hit! Crazy. I soon as I saw the sisters take out more than 10 night mares in a single hit I knew there was crazy attack at play.
Fun upload! But there is a random duels thread it should go in

i was actually going for dark since i got a nice selection of spells (confusion vampirism frenzy puppet master) all of the goodies
but i was never offered it
