Rakshasas and Titans had +3 luck from miniarties
And well Rune of Ethernalness > Rune of Magic Immunity for me. Especially that Irresistable Magic peirces through 50% of the immunity anyway and it doesn't help vs 24attack Warlock had (only 13 spellpower tough)

Not much to say, dungeon did amazing damage with both spells as well as units - very high attack - and academy was tougher than normally. Congratulations to veco 
About the next round:
Final_Boss will face me and radar faces off vs veco. If I win I play with the winner of the two for a place in the next round, if I lose the game is up to veco and radar.

It would be better to fight the semi-finalist in the upper bracket since they need to fight for extra points anyway.

Nevermind. 5 remaining people is a pain no matter how you do it. How were you planning on handling the free pass that the top bracket semi-finalist is going to have? Would they fight somebody outside of the competition as well to determine if they move on?

No you did not understand. Of the three people in the lower bracket only one will pass to the next round just like in the higher one. I explained a few posts above.
Games with Final_Boss 1-1 so far. I cursed loudly when I stepped into the arena and realized I had forgotten to set favoured enemies. Final was kind enough to offer a restart but I told him to play since we got that far - the sentiment is appreciated all the same. My intuition saved me when selecting emerald dragons, I was both scared and relieved to see a powerful implosion killing all but 6 of my druids. My plan was to use swift mind with righteous might that proved very effective, especially for my low tier units that benefited from both battle frenzy and necklace of bloody claw. The key moments was when my arcanes resisted the implosion and my unicorns blinded the phoenix. Final kept blocking my arcanes until I managed to get a clear shot at his phoenix, they were my only hope to bring that flaming beast down. Meanwhile his poltergeists kept dodging my attacks, major pain in the butt.. And yes I suck for uncovering the dead stacks that many times 
The second one was haven vs academy. I really blew it, I visited town with advanced light so no light, kept making mistakes, everything just went wrong to the point I resigned. I guess it's not a good idea to play epic games after a day of work, university and gym

Nice replay
When the Arcanes resisted that spell Final Boss must have went like "Noooo!"
I just hate resistance when it triggers on a very powerful spell like that

Selu and I had our fights. It came out 2 in favor of me.
First match was my Sylvan vs his Haven. I was thinking of going light magic until I saw the almighty war machines skill pop up, and I decided to use nuclear warheads instead. If I had an icicle I would have been hitting him with 56 spellpower, but I had to settle with 37. Lucky build:

That was...destructive. I'd have probably attacked druids with the crossbowmen and ballista with the dragons wince they were rooted to the spot. Not that there was much to be done, perhaps swift mind with mass haste/divine guidance on the crossbowmen. The dwarven game was also hard for the orcs, both ballista and destructive is a crazy rage chipper. Btw if I'm not wrong you had the ring and got both ballista and tent huh?

The ring for the haven-sylvan match? Not unless there were 50 paladins on the map that needed disposed of. I could kill about 40 of them with 3 shots.
I didn't have it in the orc game either. I just went ballista to keep the rage under control.

No I mean ring of machine affinity. My bad, the tent probably healed units randomly. That's what you get when you barely sleep after a tiring day and then work all morning

No. 1st game I had both the +3 spellpower dragon arties, the tomb of enlightenment, the ring of celerity, and I think 1 or 2 other minor things.

That resisted implosion killed me...  since that moment I spent almost every hero turn trying to neutralize arcanes, so I didn't have the time for all the other important things.
I played badly anyway... I should have casted a blade barrier just after the first arcane crystal instead of another crystal. That would have given to me 1 or 2 turns for raising units or some nice implosions.

Magical immunity works both ways, I wouldn't be able to teleport them elsewhere either..

Well done Blizzard, at least you leave me more time to study. My family will be pleased with you
The first one, I didnīt realize the insane ballista until he did the first shot. I thought he had went to Destructive Magic, but the "ice chopper tactic" is simply awesome. I needed a miracle to do anything but I wasnīt really prepared for that. No magic resistance, no damage reduction (thought that you will take light)
The second one, my abilities were simply fantastic. Except Shattering Light. Wasting 3 slots in that close battle, were decisive. Also you played so well the second one. Good runes + Good tactic = Good Game.
I hope to have the vengeance some day, maybe in another tournament
