Besides, you can put togetether a faction of just youkai, oni, ryu, and a few others ALONE! This would be the nipponish town
Oni or Ryu as the top units and varius youkai in their human disguise or half transform as heroes
The town design could be 2-3 islands plunged together on the ocean or some ridiculessy tall mountain(but the mountain is more sterotypical China...........)
+ if they continue to do cartonic grapics they could just as welll attempt to do the town design to look like the old nipponish brush style was used to draw it.

Firstly, the list has been updated since then, and secondly, Haven is no less a mix than this is, it's a stereotypical medieval lineup with little regard for actual culture (England for example didn't employ mounted knights, while the French knights were rarely on foot), on top of which thre creatures are patently fantastic (Gryphon, Priest and Angel), while others would never appear (Peasant).

You do need at least 'some' evidence, yes, and before you go saying about screwed over discussion, at least learn to spell correctly (it's 'I', not 'i').

Because there are plenty of environments in China that 'aren't' mountainous, and they're often the more populated areas. Besides which, you don't seem to like anyone else making stereotypes of the place, so why should you be allowed to do it?

Well, 'air oriented' does suit a mountain-top (lees the slopes and valleys), but it also (in my opinion) suits the open plains/grasslands/savannah.
My view of this is
open space = air
vegitation = water
valleys/caves = earth
geothermal = fire
So a mountain range encompases both air and earth depending of where you are in the range.

A possibility I suppose (given that Ryu is Japanese for 'dragon'), given the Black Dragon is with the Dark Elves, but we no more need an Oriental styled Dungeon/Inferno faction than we do an Oriental styled Haven/Academy Faction.

None of the factions are really Occidental or Oriental. They're fantasy  Besides, the H5 Sylvan town already has an oriental style to it.

I'm just saying that a faction doesn't have to religiously stick to a certain real-life culture. The Academy faction is based on ancient Persia, but there's obviously some difference since it's floating in the sky. Plus units like the "Titan" are from Greek mythology and the "Rakhasa Raja's" are Hindu. Likewise, the Haven faction has a giant statue of a well-breasted angel chick that's 50 times bigger than a regular house and the castle itself has mage-towers and the height and fanciness of the castle is greatly exaggerated from the typical European castle.
edit: so it's okay if an "asian" faction digresses a little bit.

The only 'oriental' buildings I can find in the Sylvan is the Hall, the Rampart in H3 is more 'Oriental' than the Sylvan.
