I liked how in H3 Dungeon in style was roughly a mixture of Stronghold style and Inferno style  But in all honesty I don't think we need an oriental faction. HoMM is roughly centered around the Classic Greek Mythology region, with some fallouts north and east. Stick to that region I say.
It gets kind of messy when you pull in too many real world civilisations.

I disagree, fitting a faction like this in the current game would provide us with a H4 level of faction innovation, but without the fan backlash that came of faction-splicing.

You know that there is huge differnce in mythology betwhen Europa and Asia and specially Nippon? In all translated works they tend to translate Youkai, Oni, and a few others into demon. The only demon in Nippons myths is the Christian Akuma, its the japanes word for devil.
Moreover, when translated.... in certain other series when the youkai and oni is not that evil in their deeds they tend to be translated into spirits. And in fact its closer to the orginal meaning than lets say demon(miles away).
Oni can also be translated into Ogre and Troll, but again the strenght power and intilectual ablilty is on a completely differnt level. There is even a saying: "Oni-ni-kanabo", whom reffers to invincibel.
Ryu's are the Nihongo word for Dragon, the LOOOONG Serpet style one. But in Nippon they are assosiated with Water, kind of like a flying Jormungard/Midgardsormen(but not so long).
So tecnicaly you would never mix demons and dragons

This is like the stupid combination between Haven (or Academy) and dragons !
And about the dragons,they are in 4 factions in H5 (Dungeon,Sylvan,Necro,Fortress) ,can we less them?
For example a dragon doesn't have nothing with Fortress Dwarfs..for Necro the undead dragons = ok,but better the Death Knights (and Dragons to be neutral) and Sylvan:I saw Sylvan Dragons coming from H3 and the Gold Dragon or Green Dragon are knowed as Sylvan Creatures,but for me Phoenix is a SYLVAN CREATURE (like in H2)

I think your Asian faction is flawed, here is my idea:
TIER 7 is definitely a TIGERRRR, not another dragon. And where is the obligatory PANDA-like creature? They can fit in well as level 4 or 5.
Or if you want something really fancy, use that LION from Chinese Lion dance thing. That would be totally awesome.

Yes,not another dragon ! And a Tiger should be intresting (was a Tiger in Heroes 4) , but tier 3 or 4,not 7

A Far-Eastern faction 'not' having a dragon as its top creature, when did the world go crazy? Of course they should get dragons, even if it means having to strip them from somewhere else (like Sylvan and/or Dungeon), they just belong (like Angels in the Haven).
Additionally, this is not an 'Asian' faction as such (Asia's a big place), it's quite obviously based on Ancient China and it's neighbours (Korea, Japan, Mongolia, etc.).

If their was an asian faction they should get dragons and this time people wouldn't mind because it would look so much different than the other ones. I think a Chinese Dragon would be great for Heroes!
