Huge Lotr mod
I have a crazy idea to have a giant mod transforming nearly all factions into lord of the rings.
I cant mod, but if anybody wants to contribute to the cause, that'd be great.
Here are my ideas:
Haven--> Gondor
Inferno--> ???
Dungeon--> Moria
Sylvan--> Lothlorien
Fortress--> Lonely Mountain
Stronghold--> Mordor
Necropolis--> Oathbreakers (Aragorn's ghostly friends)
Academy--> ???
I will post more about this, as the discussion progresses...

but it only changes heroes, if this goes into effect, then it will change nearly everything.

not really, all you have to do is change switch some guys around, rename them, and maybe add a thing or two.

Perhaps H5 world is very similar to LOTR world
On market, it exists Heroes Game, it exists LOTR games but nothing about a LOTR game like H5 gameplay.
I think if this H5 MOD would exist I will use or I will try at least.
Just for fun and also because I love LOTR story.

Okay, to contribute something constructive now: I know there's already a full LotR map by Vlaad with a couple of modded elements in it. You could take a look at it for inspiration, if you really want to make this thing.

You just need WinRar, Notepad, The GIMP and a couple of other small things to make mods. It's not as tough as it seems.

If we can to create this mod just by modifing xml code, the only tool you need is notepad.

It's an idea that really needs something to inspire others.
I also think why make from HOMMV an LOTR, when you can actually by any LOTR game but it's mine opinion.
There is an saying "If want to do something right do it yourself"
Start moding yourself and change what you can change and with graphics, animations or effects there will be someone who will help you or guide you.
How to start moding, read some guides, maybe this Tutorial(Thanks to that i created my first mod), and start downloading the mods and look inside them and compare with originals so you would see what have been change and where and what is an effect of the changes.
When the work at this mod starts it will be easier for you to ask someone for help for a small thing, much easier then for asking for the huge ones.
