It was not invert colors, d'oh.
I modified it multiple times, the HUE, Saturation, Contrast, Brightness, and also applied a Sharpening Filter.
Just go and try and see that you won't come at the same result as mine.

You don't need to do anything, except waiting for Val to upload it and then select it from the avatar list (it will be named "razor5-2008"

GIMP is the best, but it still doesn't support color tables and palettes, that is bad for HoMM 3 modding.

Any good sites to get custom avatars? I recall ImageShack having a section of this, but since I did not sign up wth them...
Does Photobucket have such avatars available? I can't seem to fing any...

Site for custom avatars? What do you mean? You can make every picture you want as an avatar, if it is within the limits, of course (less than 4 KB and not too big in width and height either - somewhere around 80x80 - it's not a fixed limit I think but try not to make it too huge)
