I have come up with a second choice for next year avatar.
Could someone make this smaller so it meets the demands for avatar sizes. I would do it myself, but I'm having trouble with PhotoBucket...
BTW, it's the artwork off the Radiohead album OK Computer.
And while you're at it, could you make the background on my 42 avatar?

A little question:
What avatar should I use: the Alaric one or the custom Boromir one? Both look great and fit me, I can't decide.

Well I'd say Boromir, because it's a custom avvie and shouldn't have been uploaded in vain.
But you can just shift between them from time to time, if nobody is mean enough to take one and reserve it, of course.

I would say the Boromir one. It looks better, and I agree with what Asheera said. Why get a custom avatar if you're not going to use it for very long?

Or perhaps even being able to upload avatars from our own machine, like many other forums allow, but while still having the limit. It's like most forums I have been to. They have a limit of say, 100x100 and then the filze size limit. It's like how it works now but instead of having to wait a month to upload a custom avatar, you can do it whenever you want. I wouldn't exactly see a problem with that. Then people might be a bit happier since I know I wouldn't be too happy if I submitted a custom avatar in, only to find that i submitted it an hour or so early and that I have to wait another month again.

Boromir is a cool guy and all, but I like the Alaric avatar a little bit more. I think it's weird having a photo of an actor in an avatar, but that's just me.

Well, Boromir received a quite big ammount of votes, so...
But I might switch back to Alaric, and then back to Boromir, and the back to Alaric and...
