Been playing arround with it a little and you should decide on a portion of the picture since the picture as a whole becomes waaaaaaaay too small an it looks kinda stupid since you can't make anything out. Also the file size is huge .

Logic Azzie, Logic. If you would make an avatar of the whole picture, you would end up being totally unable to seeing what's on the pic in the first place.
And I don't think ANYONE would want an avatar like that

And he was totally fine with it eventhough it looks just as bad as the wolf thing compressed. We've had other avatars aswell that look kinda weird when compressed but people wanted them anyways.
All I'm saying is that if someone tries to help you out the answer "lol wtf of course not isn't it obvious?" isn't the best. Neither is "lol dude use logic".

I believe the max resolution is 100x100 or 90x90, plus the avatar cannot exceed 4kb in size.
And Az, I'm sorry for this misunderstandment.

Alright
Had to make some sacrifices... colouring looks like it was done by a Sega Genesis but it still looks pretty good to me.
Edit:
I made a JPG version that squeezed under 4KB too. Enjoy whichever you prefer.

I love Genn Greymane! To bad he isn't doing a sheep in WoW and just stands around cluelessy in Stormwind... -.-
And I HATE THE AVATAR SYSTEM ON THIS SITE.
I have tried making an avatar for AGES that is less than 4kb and 100x100 pixles but its freaking impossible. They always end up much smaller than what other people have. >.<

People, how do you compress the images for avatars. I see that the avatars are 4 kB max. I can't compress a image below 11 kB (85x85 pixels) with Photoshop CS3. Please share the secret
Oh, and some mod has to put in order this mess

2. Save image as JPEG
3. Lower file quality until it reaches 4kB
4. ?????
5. Profit
Dunno how to do it with Photoshop.
