The pink peasant is most definitely irresistibly sexy. I'm just worried that 2 months from now I'm going to get sick of having a fat guy with a pink helmet as my avatar and it will lose it's humor/incredible sexiness. The gold Agrael might be a better choice in the long run.

Exactly my thoughts (only that I don't find him sexy at all ).
People, choose wisely your avatar so that you won't get bored of it in 1-2 months.

Guys, you're going about it all wrong.
Avatars are supposed to be spur-of-the-moment, chosen on a whim type things.
Just look at fogs old avatar: "Self-Proclaimed-Master-Boob-Story-Teller" or something along those lines.
Hell, look at fogs NEW avatar.
My avatar is probably one of the most ridiculous and impractical avatars ever, but when I tried to change it it was like trying to steal a playstation from a spoilt 9 year old. Or something. The point is that it wasn't simple and it didn't work out, so I went back to my simple old H3-style lawsuit pending ringwraith avatar (if that's what it is).
/pointless story
Anyway. When in doubt, go for something simple, and it's better if it has it's own shape rather than just a square frame because they make my eyes grumpy.

Well it doesn't look that bad. The only reason i would have wanted a higher res one is because I could then resize it to the same size but use less compression (that means less JPEG artifacts) to look a bit better at the same size -- but then again not worth the trouble if you don't have any.

I can't decide as well, but first:
I actually like MM's original avatar (some of his posts were incredibly funny with that black mage around, but maybe it's just me) so if yoiu want to change it, I'd prefer ADAM's avvie, because it's awesome and not making the original avvie scary 
Secondly, the pink peasant is extremely awesome 
A golden agrael just leaves big shoes to fill, so I would stick with that peasant.
Now, my dilemma!

Annoying kid: WATCH OUT, KENSHIN! He's going to use the mega demon slash!
Idealist woman: Oh no! If Kenshin is hit by the mega demon slash, he'll die!
Sidekick who punches: I thought the mega demon slash was a myth.
Random person on the street: Mega demon slash!
That's pretty much what every boss fight turns into. A silly technique that everybody must comment on that Kenshin is able to overcome in the end.

Exactly ^^ and i love the sheer repetitiveness
anyhow, I'm anly pointing out that the big boss battle against Shishio (the other guy I posted a pic off) went differently. They stretched this out for three episodes:
-half-dead guy: No he's to powerful!
-Shishio: Noone can beat me, muahahaha
-Kenshin: Nooo
*Shishio explodes...*
Not kidding here! kenshin is more something of nostalgia, back in the time I was... 8! and watched it every sunday. It made no sense whatsoever!
